Opened a box containing a pair of new rocker panels. Yay! :fireworx:

The stickers on them show they were made in canada.

For you canadians, they are on this page too:

Wow. They came through. And cheap too I see! I would be interested to see a write up on how you do it, unless you are having a shop do it. My Pathy spent 5 years in your neck of the woods, and its showing a small sign of rocker issues.

As soon as they put it all back together, double work has to happen :)

I know, but since I was out of town I couldn't pick up the part for them.....and they can't run out and buy them since it's our local prison doing the work......it only cost me $30 for the water pump installation and it will only be $30 for the timing belt install......I know this question is gonna come up......the mechanic is certified.....he just liked to cook dope and got caught.....good for me!!!!!

Addressed the slop in the steering box. Made a mark of where it was originally, then tightened it 1/8th of a turn and made a mark. We'll see how that works. I figure I'll need to go another 1/8th, but when it comes to steering boxes. you gotta go slow and gently with the adjustments. :cheetos:

pathfinder has been down for a while. I have replaced. all 4 uca bushings, all 4 tie rod ends, center link, steering stablizer, all 4 ball joints, both axles, painting the front bumper, rear bumper, newer style spoiler, 3rd brake light install, fixed the door handle, new fender painted, mirrors painted, hardbody grill painted and corner lights painted to match, brush gaurd powder coated, cleaned up frame and repainted it, fixing the rocker panels so theres no rust, cleaned air box in dash, rewired a 4 cig outlet in(hidden in glove box), new leds for the floor lights, bought a universal hid projector kit for the headlights(waiting for that to come in) bought all new speakers for the front and rear might were comppletly toast no wonder they sounded like @!*%. changed all the brake pads, also installed new front sway bar bushings and end links. I cleaned up my headers and exhuast and flowmaster 40 series and magnoflo high flow cat and got 2.5" exhaust now. replaced the leds in the clear corners up front, upgraded the front fogs to 100watt bulbs, cleaned the engine bay up and did the valve cover gaskets and new speedo cable.

So yeah alot of money has been dropped into this POS in the last week so hopefully im done fixing it for a while now.

I will post pics up when its all done!

Changed my CV axles with new replacements from O'reilly.

Axlesresized.jpg

They look good, the outer boots have more pleats than the originals. might help them last longer.

I measured the outer shafts where the needle bearings ride and it was within .001 for the factory axles. They fit perfect with no issues. I'm going wheeling today so I will see how they roll.

Also changed my oil, hadn't been paying attention I had almost 6K since last oil change. At least I know it doesn't burn any oil it was still full on the stick.

Also fixed a fuel leak I have been smelling for a long time next to the fuel tank but could never find. Hopefully my fuel mileage comes up now.

I definitely want to know how they hold up. I'm gonna go the O'reillys route too for the lifetime warranty if yours work out well.
