  1. You should be able to get OME springs there (ARB makes them) for a high quality spring and decent lift. And youmight be able to fit 32's with MINOR trimming with it. I run stock springs and 31's fit with no problem (goodyear AT/S)
  2. OME is a lift. Question, where did you get your OME springs from? If im correct then you got light, not medium fronts (921, 922, 923 for L, M, H, respectively). I could be wrong. Either way looks good. Time to get a front spacer from NX4 (daddyrim here on the forums). Jose
  3. yea I want to know also. Do you think your are going to have to modify the sub-frame for the rack being turned?
  4. Go to 4x4parts.com and order their rear springs and you should be good. Gives a 2" lift. Yea, Um, we here are talking about 96-04 R50 Pathfinders. The unibody ones. Not the WD21 with body on frame. Just clearing this up. Jose
  5. Yea, my heat shielding fell off! Going 70 on the highway! Haha, not fun for the people behind me. But I had that rattle. Didn't bother me though, but thats me. Jose
  6. Something could be bent. Or, when was the last time you had your diff fluid in front changed? Even though the front drivetrain is always spinning, it has no torque being applied to it, so that's more than likely why you only hear it in 4WD. I would take a close look at it.
  7. Mostly true. The engine didn't change until 2001 or 2002. It was all asthetics that changed. Also, I wish a pathy had a VQ45! The VQ35 just seems to lack in comparison!! Jose
  8. The above is an extreme SAS. Lot of work. Only 3 people on this board have had a SAS R50. The above, Alex (nissandoms47?) and this guuy http://www.nissanpathfinders.net/forum/index.php?showtopic=17769&st=20 he used a pre-94 dodge axle (passenger side drop) so he also changed his transfer case to accomodate. Just do research on other SAS trucks. The basics apply. You just have to do the R50 stuff as it comes along.
  9. You could always get a chevy axle to go with it, as they use the same lug pattern. Hope this helps!
  10. Thats what I was going to say. When was the last time you changed your oil?
  11. Um, whats the difference for the auto-hubs? I mean, do they free spin when in 2wd? and lock up when in 4wd? I don't get it. I don't have a wd21 so i don't know about these.
  12. HA! I have this same problem. Bad O2 sensor. I just tested my mileage and I got 12.95 MPG. Thats horrible!!!
  13. 96-04 Pathfinders and QX4 have the same exact Chassis. This means that the hitch will fit no problem. Go get it!
  14. I agree. I have a 96 with all working lights ( I'm not the original owner, but for sure these were not replaced because maintance from previous owner was crap). And the lights, were they Nissin? (not NissAn, but NissIn).
  15. I don't think the LSV has anything to do with it. Like I said, on slick roads my pathy locks up too. Just slow down a little sooner. You don't have ABS.
  16. Um, is this a discussion on why he should pick a different motor or how he is gonna put the motor he has in there? Plain and simple he already has the motor. No need to spend $500 or more on a new motor when that could be put into putting the motor in his PF. Let's get on with this! I want to see. Jose
  17. Beat me to it! That's exactly what I was going to say!! And as far as the AC springs go. I would just get them. It's not that much more of a lift (2", c'mon now!) and just because you don't take it off road doesn't mean it can't be lifted. My friend has a 28" lift on his truck. Drives it everyday. It has never been off-roading. Been that way for a year now. Just upgrade! OME springs are good to and don't lift as high as the AC springs do (~1.5").
  18. All comes down to money. Plus, he already has the motor and trans. Why bother moving on? Jose
  19. Well, Considering I just read a report that says my area is one of the worst in the country, I'd say don't come here. And the state cut all funding for road repairs. I'd say don't drive here again. And it's full of people in the NAVY, who come from every where there is a bad driver, I'd say just ride a bike here. back on topic. Those test results are bad. Have you seen our crush zones? Horrible. I just try not to drive on the roads any way.
  20. Use a stock one. Mine is a Nissin (not NissAn) brand one. Hasn't failed me and I have a 96. Oh, And like Kingman said, I use DOT 4. A little harder to find sometimes and like a couple dollars more, but worth every penny. Although, It is a bit overkill on our Pathy's. Jose
  21. Yup. And toe should be the only thing you need adjusted. If anything else is off than your subframe might be a little tweeked. or Your strut mounts might not be straight. Or something is bent.
  22. Just lift the motor a bit. Probably easier if you take off the transmisson mount to angle it more.
  23. Well, It depends on the type of performance you want, really. More for the street or for off-roading?
  24. Even if you wanted, you can't get the back aligned. Its a solid axle. It stays where its at at all times (which would be 0). SO, only the front is to be aligned. Don't let anyone fool you and tell you the back needs it too so they can charge you for nothing. Jose
