  1. if it's a pathy wheel above 16", then no prob. Just get the info yourself after you get it!
  2. Year: 1996 Pathfinder SE lift : Stock/ no lift Wheels : Aluminum 15x10 Tires : Cooper and Dunlop 31x10.5 Notes: Rubs like hell with no trimming. Requires some good work with the plastic.
  3. well, if you go to courtesy Nissan, the front diff pics look the same (except for the housing which is obviously different). even the part numbers for the ring and pinion are the same for one of them. So maybe you could just get the ring and pinion from the 4.9 and swap that out? Hmm... Fontier Pathfinder I've also heard that we have a high pinion design and the others have a low pinion. But that makes no sense now that i see one of the part numbers are the same for both... Jose
  4. Wait no more my friend. These pics are at night (didn't get home till 1am) but so yo don't have to wait much longer. I'll have better pics in the morning. They are 15x10 with 3.75" BS. At the moment they have 31x10.50 tires with about 1/4 tread left. I have no lift so I can't put bigger tires. They rub like hell at full lock. In fact, they rub like hell just before full lock. I'll have to do some trimming. Enjoy. Jose
  5. Show Off...(wait till tomorrow, I'll show you who's cool ) Jose
  6. Yea, aluminum is best for 99% street. Lots of people use it off roading too so don't get too worried about it. And X wheels should fit fine. At least the 5 spoke SC version does. Jose
  7. Awesome!! I was just thinking it would be pointless to extend the lowers if you can't extend the uppers to compensate. Ride would just be all over the place on the highway. Thanks! Hopefully I'll be grabbing a set of lowers in the next couple months (death wobble is starting to irritate). And soon after uppers to prep for SFD. Jose
  8. There are no longer struts. You'll just have to get used to the topping out or get straps to prevent it (Like nissandoms47). KYB GR-2's are the most recommended struts. As for the rear, you should be fine for a while. Jose
  9. I kind of agree with this also. I don't understand how it could cause premature failure if there is no load or turning of any kind in the TC. But at the same time if 4wd is engaged when the hubs are unlocked, that is bad. And that is what fluery's is talking about. This TC has an option to leave it in auto, so 4wd engages by itself. If your hubs are unlocked in this time, bad things could happen. So just be careful if you have them. Also, just one thing. What did you do about the C-clip holding the hub on from the CV axle end? I thought you had to take that cap off first, remove the c-clip, and then take the hub off? Or am I mistaken? Jose
  10. I think the main difference was the strut mounts. But I think they changed them all to be the same for replacements.
  11. You could always look for stock manual locking hubs from a 90-95 Hardbody.
  12. just throw those bolts away. They are not really safe to use again once taken off.
  13. Not many people are doing it. Not exactly the most common or easy thing to do. But shift220 is selling his 3.5" lift (minus the rear lift part) in the thread by this one. Maybe you should pick it up (I would but I'm broke)
  14. Well, considering the pathy does 80% of it's braking up front (unless you have a heavy load, in which case it's 60/40) it doesn't surprise me. Mine has 167K with the original rears. Fronts been replaced once since 130K.
  15. It's an early model VQ (besides the Maxima) so I wouldn't worry about it. But that's me. Otherwise I would change your fuel filter. Good place to start.
  16. Interesting idea. I wouldn't do it though. Expensive, pointless, and more to go wrong on the trail. Just have a resonator and muffler and you should be good to go. Engine-merge-resonator-muffler with dual outlet. Make it 1.75" piping and at least an 18" long resonator and you're good to go. Just remember the longer the resonator the quieter the exhaust. Jose
  17. What do you mean off by 1/4"? Picture maybe?
  18. You speak blasphemy! what is this J-E-E-P you speak of? The cool thing about the 05 is that Calmini makes a 5" lift for it. And you can get a supercharger. And a body lift for a total of 7" combined lift. And winch bumpers. And more space. And more support. And you can even have bling factor (haha, what alexrex calls a "bro truck" haha)....WTF? CAN WE GET ALL THIS? DAMN! Jose
  19. They have a problem. If you check the ARB site, the numbers are different. Rocky-road is wrong. You should call them and tell them to send you the correct springs (which in their case the Heavy is actually medium). Either way, if your not going to mount a winch up front, you should be good to go. And again, It looks good. You should get that leveling plate though to even it up a bit (unless you like that look, which is cool all the same). Jose
  20. http://www.nissanpathfinders.net/forum/index.php?showtopic=19867 Jose
  21. Replace it then. Or remove it all together (but you have to know what your doing with the vacuum lines.)
