  1. For the non adjustable...but how much for the adjustable 5 piece set? Still no quote on that? Thats what I'm waiting for. Jose
  2. i didnt get what i was looking at...
  3. Here is a thread about your crappy KYB mounts. http://www.nissanpathfinders.net/forum/index.php?showtopic=20421 Straps? BLAH!! GO HARD, SON!!! YEE-HAWW! (haha, how you like them terms together?) Jose
  4. labor about $500 including alignment (make sure to buy camber bolts for AC lift if you go that route). Which lift? preference really. Just make sure the struts are KYB GR-2's (and buy them from somewhere other than AC...rip off there). Shocks are what you can get. very debatable. Go with the KYB if you can't decide. You rub with 31's?then your stock springs are pretty saggy then. doing the lift will probably give you a 2.5" lift from your current hight. Great for 32's!!! I don't know why i'm typing this. blah blah blah Jose
  5. oops. sorry for misunderstanding...
  6. When I did mine i just used a ratchet and a 6" (i think, maybe longer) extension. Just rotate the axle. What I did was I had my hubs off so I could freely rotate it ( i dont have locking hubs). I just used a screw driver in the brake rotor to keep it from spinning when I was loosening. Easy as counting to 1,000 6 times. Jose
  7. does the motor crank or when you turn the key nothing happens? Jose
  8. Sorry for jumping the gun on you with that one What fueler said. Jose
  9. I would just get stock F250 shocks and be happy. Jose
  10. So I've been doing some research to help my pathy with power. Obviously there's VG34 and ET, but in the mean time, I've been thinking about VG30 heads. From what I've found, the valves are the same size, but the combustion chamber itself is smaller. Couple this with the 3.3 bottom end, and the compression ratio would raise a little (maybe by like .3 or something) but I have yet to confirm this. The heads are supposed to have a better flow design also, but again, I have yet to confirm this. One thing though, if the heads are the same, then the cams could just be used. They have higher lift and duration then the 3.3 cams. Anyone have insight to any of this? Jose
  11. Coolio. Haven't been on that forum in a little while. Wonder when the first Solid front will be.
  12. wow...$450? That's a real good deal for both sets, considering it would be $400 for a complete new set from the dealer. When do I get paid again?... So any word on the adjustable set prices? Jose
  13. 20% is the norm for rear SUV windows. Front percent varies by state laws (that's why most SUVs don't have tint on the front or don;t go darker than 50%). I tinted my Sentra with 20% all around. Don't know what brand. But the place I took it to has a lifetime warranty on it. Just check your local tint shop to tell you the percent. Or if you have tint laws, ask a friendly officer of the law to measure it for you. either way, 20% is probably what you got and need. Jose
  14. Therer are spring blocks. The hold your spring so it doesn't fully extend...but you'll probaby still top out. So...staying stock is an option... Jose
  15. Changing the springs won't affect your wheels at all if you run stock wheels. This thread that's in the pinned topics and FAQ section (where you should've read first) will help you at mucho. http://www.nissanpathfinders.net/forum/index.php?showtopic=19867 Jose
  16. Amazing work. Can't wait to see version 2.0! Jose
  17. Woops, there goesmy bumper... Sounds like you fried the alternator. But then you would still have the battery. so check the fuse box. Should be a few big fuses. One might be blown. That's all I got since I don't know much about the VQ. Cool to see a pathy taking this all on though!
  18. What about the Ford Villager? Doesn't that have about the same size radiator? I mighthave to look into this. Was going to go to the JY today but it decided to storm...damn... Jose
  19. go to nissanparts.biz and look it up. Jose
  20. Its a combination of those plus the back spacing of the wheels. you can go tall and wide if you got the right back spacing or wheel spacers. what do you want to run? Jose
  21. Shops either do vacuum or charge with nitrogen to find leaks. compressed air is a big no-no because you can put water in your system and that would be very bad... Jose
  22. That's the price you pay for quality parts on a high demand quality engine. Jose
  23. thats agreat idea. those really help the r50. i don't know about soaking them. just drill them or burn the old ones out. then cut the sleeve out with a sawzall or something. grease the new bushings and force them in. or some people cut them in half (or buy the ones that are already cut in half) to make it easier to go in. Jose
  24. no, there is not. we have a rack/pinion steering set-up (like a car) so there really isn't anything you can do. Jose
