  1. Another thought I had! What about using the heads from a NA Z31 300ZX? Or even from the WD21 pathy? Hmmm....I'm gonna have to investigate this path!
  2. Only Suggestion I have would be to use 2" piping instead of 2.25" if your gonna be dual all the way. Well, 2" piping to the muffler. Then 2.25" out if you want. I say this because it will hurt your low end a lot if you go that big. Nissan used 1.5"-1.75" piping on these things. And the motor is not that big. And running 2.25" piping for 3 cylinders at only 150WHP is crazy! You'll lose all the velocity and scavenging the exhaust needs to make that low end. Just my thought. Also...Have you thought about using VG30 Cams? Jose
  3. Umm...is this really a cold air system? Or are you just changing intakes? I don't really understand this...
  4. Woa...my friends tire did that and blew out the side on the highway. It was weird...Good thing you caught it!
  5. It's mineral. If you're using synthetic, don't downgrade.
  6. Since I don't use synthetic, I change mine about evey 3000 miles. I use Castrol GTX High Milage 5w-30. When I get the money (after replacing all my bushings) I will be buying a master engine rebuild kit and then switching to fully Synthetic oil. Haven't decided which one though. I hear good things about Mobil 1 (The only synthetic I've ever used was Royal Purple. But that was in my RX-7 and the pathy doesn't justify $16 per quart!) Jose
  7. Well this would be a good idea to fix. Just start with the cheapest solution. Resest the ecu (unplug the battery and hit the brakes a few times, then wait like 5 minutes). if that don't work, take the fuel pump assembly out and see if the float got stuck. If not that, then replace the sensor. If not that, then the fuel pump assembly must need to be replaced. Good luck. Jose
  8. You could always put the spare on your roof. Thats what some people do and I will do when i get new tires.
  9. Go get a haynes manual. read it. then do it. Simple.
  10. You'll need to either get new wheels or bore out your wheels for the hubs to fit. And since you don't go wheeling that often, You can just do what morpheous said and leave them unlocked. And when you think you might need 4x4, lock em up. It'll act just like stock with them locked up! Jose
  11. With the OME lift you should be fine. Just don't be slamming the gas when your off the main road. The WARN's are mainly for a bit more reliability and ease of mind. Also, why aren't you getting new struts? Your ride is bound to be a bit more bouncy without some more aggressive struts. Try the KYB struts. I hear nothing but good things, and I just put a set on mine and love them (even though they are used, its still a better ride than before!) Jose
  12. Well as far as W/D21s go, their is no trend for the 4.3/4.6, as alot of poeple said auot with both. but i've seen only auto R50's with the 4.6 and manuals with the 4.3's...but thats just what I have seen. Sorry to go off topic...well, not too far off since the OP did mention gears...right? Jose
  13. I thought the gearing was different between auto's and manuals? Not models...Hmm....
  14. I got 20% charcoal tint on my Sentra. Matches the exterior way better than black (its kind of a grayish silverish color. i don't know, I have a color deficiency in my eyes). But 20% Charcoal with a silver on back would be bad ass on a white PF!
  15. Although there may be only one bulb, it has 2 filaments (Well, in some apps. I'm not 100% sure about ours). The low beam one could have broke. Or, your stalk could have broke something. Or, a wire in the bulb plug could have came loose...Or...
  16. I stand by Pioneer 100%. It's all I use and recomend (un;ess you got the money to get some JL Audio gear, then your a big dog for some crystal clear sounds, with a Pioneer head unit of course). This is my opinion, as my friend is all about Alpine, and another swears by Sony (that one is funny to me). But i Love the sound quality and the way the bass hits with a sealed box (which i prefer over a ported box). Besides, the world DB drag leader uses a Pioneer head unit (but with Shocker speakers). Jose
  17. This is because its a 'CARS' vehicle. I know because I just got parts from a '97 PF this past weekend (complete! also has a manual trans if anybody wants it. Yard is selling it for $650 - negotiable. the trans that is) All the cars that come from Cash for clunkers get a 'resin' poured into the engine, which hardens and renders the motor useless. So anything the oil goes on is non sell able, including the distributor. Luckily they don't do it to the trans. So if anybody is near me (I'm in south eastern VA, Virginia Beach/Norfolk area) I can show you where its at. Although I would prefer not to so I can save up and get the trans! But I'm a good sport. Finally got my PF back on the road! And, the best part is it had GR-2 Struts on it! So I'm upgraded! Wooh wooh! Jose
  18. should fit...i don't see why not unless the flares/mud flaps interfere...but again i don't see why not.
  19. not to mention i'd never pay that much for some Arnold-ness (the whole chrome thing...get it?)
