Ok, so since my trailing arm bushings are shot to the point that my rear axle actually walks when I'm driving, I'll be upgrading to the poly bushings. I have a few questions, though. On 4x4parts.com (AC) they have 2 different ones. One is split (cheaper) and one is not. Is there really any difference? I've read people cut them to make it easier to install if you don't have a press. I have a press, so I won't need to split them, so is the non-split better? Also, they have these bushings for the front: https://www.4x4parts.com/catalog/product_in...products_id=712 https://www.4x4parts.com/catalog/product_in...products_id=711 Anybody have these? is it worth getting them? Any opinions on them is very much welcomed. thanks! Jose

Haha. No, I'm pretty sure mine is under powered. And I live In VA. It still has the cats that are at the end of the manifolds, So it's not so bad. But since my exhaust is starting to rust, those will probably end up being gone too. I just need to find someone with an Xterra that has headers on it to see if they will fit on the Pathy. Hmm.... Headers, 1.5" piping to a 2-1 muffler, then 1.75" piping out of that...Sounds so yummy!!! Jose

03 pathfinder with AC 2" lift - having problems
180sx replied to matt2000's topic in 96-2004 R50 Pathfinders
Seems to me that the rancho's are giving you a run for your money! Haha. But just get the GR-2's. I don't have any lift, but I too have heard many bad stories with Rancho products. FAIL. Jose -
R50 VG33 belt cover torque specs and fastener guide
180sx replied to zbeck's topic in R50 FAQ's & Pinned Topics
It don't mean you did something wrong cause they squeak for a minute. Maybe your belts are not tight enough, or a pulley is loose. Jose -
yea, my truck doesn't have a resonator, and is missing 2 of the cats also!

Who knows. Its nothing thats gonna affect it. They probably assume that the pads should wear even on both sides (which they should) so only need to spend cost on one clip rather than two clips. Make sense? Jose

bad @$$. I may have to check this out with a fabricator! Jose -
Could be: Not enough oil oil passages blocked (seafoam) bad lifters timing chain bent valve (doubtfully) your mother trying to tell you something pick one and go from there. Do you have a CEL or SES light on?

I'm game. Imma build me a bumper made out of cardboard, then get that aluminum tape they use for HVAC and cover it with that, then paint it brown, then black spots, then green lines. It'll be so cool! Jose

what are you walking about? blinker fluid? tire oxygen? 350? You may have brought up an old thread and posted about the wrong subject, but could you at least make sense??? Jose

please do!

Thanks. I would like to get Good Year A/T's on them, since they are not too high in price and last longer then the BFG's do. We'll see. I'm just wondering how much trimming is gonna have to be done to fit these.

"but the decals on the side of my car are vinyl, so they are super smooth, which drops my c-d way lower than you, so my 0-60 is like 10 seconds faster, yo! not to mention my my winshield wiper spoiler things help me handle that on rap 30mph faster, yo!" haha, couldn't resist... Can I have a free skid?

Took some quick snaps of the wheels I plan on putting on the pathy. They are not new, they came off my buddies Taco before he SAS'd it. They are 15x10 with 16mm offset (between 3.75" and 4" of BS) This is it on the pathy: Side View of it: Clearance when turned to the right. Can we say trimming of bumper and fender?: Clearance when turned to the left. More trimming needed! Imagine with a 32" tire on there! And how wide it is compared to my 31x10.5 tire on the stock 15x7 wheel: sorry to thread jack!! Jose

The R50 is the 1996-2004 Nissan Pathfinder. Are your doors sealed up? I know my rubber gasket on the inside of my door is non-existent because it tore off. Doesn't leak, but it could easily.

I have no idea to what you just said. But, to me it does make sense that it would help a little. Anything and everything that can be used to help will help. It's all the little things combined that make a big difference. Oh, and an intake won't be less efficient. It will be more. Your freeing up a restriction of the engine, helping it suck in air easier. That is, if you have a decent intake filter on it. A bad design can actually make you lose power and MPG goes down. tough crap. But I do understand what zibi is saying. It does seem highly unlikely that something as simple as a skid could make such a difference. But, I won't say anything negative because I have no experience with it. I'll have to wait to see for myself! Jose

yea, if you got another set (or extras, whatever) after his, I'd like to pick those up from ya!

have you taken your door panel off any time before it started? or spill anthing in your R50?

I got a set of 15x10's with 3.75" back spacing waitng on some tires to be mounted (32x11.50's). When i put the bare rim on, they stuck out past the flare about half an inch. Can't imagine what it'll be like when the tires are on there. Hopefully and can scrounge up some coins to get a SFD made so i can throw some 33's on these bad boys!
