  1. Your's is bad. Didn't it pop through the top or something? Man, wish I could strengthen the top of it.
  2. I got 155K miles on this bad boy...
  3. So the census is make sure you have at least 3.75" BS for 15x10's? Why wouldnt you recommend a 32x11.5 on a 15x10? just curious. I seen a 15x10 with 31x10.5's before. looked stupid because the sidewalls were actually going in instead of out (weird). But i think a 11.5 would keep the side wall atraight up and down. If anything, I'm sure with good trimming the 15x10 with 3" BS should work...At least I hope...Only one way to find out for sure right?
  4. New LCA's!!! Man, I have the death wobble bad ( I mean, just driving down a regular road it sways) so I need some new stuff. I've been thinking about getting some Poly's from 4x4, (those pre-order ones were way too expensive for my budget) so if these are about the same price as a new stock replacemnt (is it like 100 bucks for a new LCA complete?) than I'm down for a set (well, In like July I can afford - remodeling your home adds up!)
  5. huh...well, i take back what i say. Maybe it the tires from different manufacturers...hmmm... you can run a 32 with 4.5? i've been mislead....
  6. And with 4.5" of BS, you might only be able top get away with stock sizse tires, unless you get a 1.5" spacer to compensate.
  7. Your filter duhickey is basically an oil catch can. Works wonders.
  8. I think he is reffering to the knuckle.
  9. nice. i'm also curious to see up close of the mounting.
  10. Maintanance is priority! Not only should you replace all your rear control arm bushings, but also your steering rack bushings! You'll thank me for that one. And to change what was said above, I would get the Manual hubs before the lift. Just added security on an older vehicle, you know? And...I'd swap the diffs with frontier diffs (make sure it has the rear LSD!). my .02 Jose
  11. Lol...yea, right. The guy at advance was trying to sell me the KYB mouonts. Said that KYB is top notch. I'm sure their shocks/struts may be, but not these mounts...OEM it is... Now I just need an alignment.
  12. Well, the first time the threads broke clean off right after that nut thing. This time it looks like it just tried to tear through the mount and ended up breaking the nut in half or something. So, I'm guessing the isolator failed...I'm not really sure as everything was lost!
  13. yes sir! unless you wanna do a SFD and take the springs out. That ay you still have a 'lift' and stock cv angles! Yay!
  14. So there I was, having fun at my usual spot when BAM! I lost steering control. WTF?!?! Get out and see what happened. Dang...not again! Heres the pics of my truck. So, remember not to procrastinate when your struts are blown. They will break! This is the second time this has happened to me in less than a year! one on each side! Jose
  15. does anybody think 15x10 wheels with 3" BS would work? Or would that just be way too wide? I havne't seen anyone with wider than 8" wheels, so yea...
  16. I was looking at that, too. Never seen a blue one before.
  17. Or go to the JY and pull the factory ones off the older (90-95) HB's!
  18. Hmm...new boots and some manual hubs would be my best suggestion.
  19. Http://www.4x4parts.com That will get you a 2" lift with coils. Even get some new struts (not longer, just 'better') and rear shocks. That way you can fit your new tires no prob! I just don't know if they will ship to philipines.
  20. You know I'm not sure. The thing I noticed is that it only has the two cats on the manifolds. Thats it. Then it goes into a 2-1 muffler and then the resonator at the end. It could have been replaced. And the heat shield on top is definately mesed up (held on with t-clamps!!!). So it could have a dinky exhaust on it as a replacement. I do need to change my t-belt. I did have to adjust the distributor before when I first got it because the timing was way off. And I'm sure one of the cams is off a tooth. I'm not too sure because I just glanced at it when I was checking my water pump before. Hmm...guess It's time for a new t-belt and water pump. Oh, it has over heated before. Well, almost. The temp guage was on the 'H' line for a minute or two before I realized it. Had a hole in the bypass hose. Now that's a b!@$H to replace!! Jose
  21. Sooooo... I've been wondering about this for a while. The Pathy has like zero power under 2800 RPMs. But once it hits ~2800, it pulls like it just hit boost or something. It's not linear at all. It's been like this since I got, but it wasn't taken very good care of (it only cost me $500, so yea). I've all ready had to replace the valve cover gaskets becuase they were hard as rock and leaking oil on my exh. manifold (I know has nothing to do with it, but you know...) and it still leaks oil (I'm down to the 'L' every time I change my oil). So, I'm wondering if it would be a good time to do a nice rebuild (well, just replace all the gaskets and clean the manifolds and what not). Oh, and it hasn't had the ATF or diff oil changed since I had it almost two years (which I really need to do. Who knows how long thats been done, if it ever has!) and I heard that it's should be changed every 2 years (is this right?). Oh, and the spark plugs have been changed, almost a year ago (got like 7k on them). So, in short, I'm just wondering if this power this is right like everyone elses or is my engine weak sauce? Thanks. Jose
  22. Good Stuff. Glad to see the problem solved! Just like fleurys said, it sucks when people don't post what the problem was, or just say "never mind, found the problem" and thats it! Only 92k? Hmm....maybe i'll take a looks at my distributor to see if all is well on my 96 with 157k on the odo... Jose
  23. Well oh snap son!! Baja that bastard!! How you doing that front strut setup?
  24. Yea i run 34psi and that's perfect! But when its a hot day and im driving alot i air it down to 30 to compesate for pressure increase due to the heat.
  25. You'll be fine to 5000. You got synthetic! (which i can;t afford..haha). As a rule i use, the line between L and H i add a quarter of a quart at a time. it usually ends up being a whole quart, but add a quarter at a time.
