  1. There are heaps of options to you guys in the states, Rugged Rocks & 4x4parts.com to start with.
  2. Heres a start http://www.nissanpathfinders.net/forum/index.php?showtopic=7466
  3. You think yours is slow? Try a Terrano, with 2.7L Turbo Diesel.
  4. Hell no, NOS or no NOS, its still a 4wd. They aren't made to go fast. Like 87 said, sell it and invest in your truck where your going to benefit.
  5. Yeah mate, that will work
  6. I'd say its definitely Full time then. Very cool
  7. I have only heard of post Sept 95 having all mode 4wd.
  8. Usually there is a small tab located down the hole I have put the box around, you need something small enough to fit down there that you can push the tab in.
  9. I think you may be correct, if the clicking noise goes away when you go into 4wd it shouldnt be a CV.
  10. One reason I love living where I do, no rust to worry about, when I did my CV's, I undid the 4 bolts and they seperated without any effort at all.
  11. Looks good, what size tank are you using?
  12. I'd be doing the starter, if it was moisture in the dizzy it would still turn over, just wouldnt fire. If its dead completely, then when you give the starter a couple of love taps & it starts, I believe your problem is a dead spot in the starter.
  13. Looking at the Nissan4u website, it looks like all Pathfinders over there came in 2 different emissions specs, Federal or California. Perhaps people could order either from the dealership anywhere in the country.
  14. SH!T mate, is the a retread? Glad you didnt do any major damage to you or the truck
  15. Get some 30" H/T's for the stock rims for every day use, but keep the 31's for when you go wheeling.
  16. Here ya go mate, quick walk through http://www.nissanpathfinders.net/forum/index.php?showtopic=255
  17. I think your HD might be fried. Dell will have a record of your recovery disks, one of the boys at work had to have a set sent out. You will need to give them some details and they should send it out. think it cost him about 20 bucks AUD.
  18. G'day Addz, I'm south down in Kwinana. If you want to arrange a meet I can have a look and will be able to confirm. When in 2wd, the front hubs are unlocked so the CV's arent turning, as soon as you start driving the wheels through the diff, the CV turns and the auto hubs lock themselves. I changed both my CV's a little while back, it really isnt difficult to do.
  19. CV joint for sure. Not a difficult one to fix if you have a little bit of mechanical knowledge.
  20. x2 Having a seatbelt mounted to the back of the seat is just going to tie you to the seat, which if you hit hard enough can tear out of the mounts & turn you into a projectile. If your set on 5 points, build a cage, or at the least a roll bar loop behind the seats.
  21. Here ya go, this is the type of clamp that JJ mentioned. http://www.clampsinc.com/torca%20series.htm
  22. 4wd systems here in OZ do a front Lokka for the D21 http://www.4wdsystems.com.au/index.php?id=70
  23. Would it be worth sourcing and iporting one from Japan? Not sure about your import regulations though.
