    Hub Studs

Iv had a look but cant find it can someone tell me the size of the studs that hold the hub in iv put the manual locking hubs on and a cpl of the studs have broken so gonna put better ones in so anyone know thx also is there a grade of bolts should i get ? thx
  2. Yeah not good but its the first time its been rebuilt in 250k kms so i guess its pretty due given the amount of beach work it does. Tho thought the cooler and regular filter changes would have kept it goin. Still no wiser for where to take it, gotten quotes from a few places from $1500 up to $4500 ahhhhhh someone even wanted $500 just to drop the pan and have a look lmfao 5hrs labour to drop the pan ???? There has to have been some Perth ppl havin it done on here ??? Wonder where and how well it went oh well keep lookin at least it still drivable, might ask on the forum what it would be if its slippin in 2nd bands etc ??? thx oh and Go the Ozzy for truck of the month
  3. Hi there fellas after a trouble free 100k kms the auto g/box has decided to pack it in. I did oil and filter changes and an oil cooler but still it cooked the oil and then started slipping in 2nd gear. Contemplating getting it fixed anyone know of a wothwhile place in Perth that will do a good job and know what there on about with these box's Also how about getting it shift kitted while its there ideas opinions much appreciated Thx Addz
  4. Hey fellas posted a little thing about my power steering pump pissin fluid all over the place in the garage section and was wondering if any of u would lend some advice seeing as how you's were very helpful with the CV question b4 thx Addz
  5. The power steering fluid is pissing out of my 93 Terrano. Not positive of the exact location, but the pump is covered in fluid. Checked the hoses retightened the clamps and no luck stopping the flow Before i spring for a new/recon pump wondering what usually goes wrong with them, seals or anything that i can fix. Had a good result with the last question i asked on here so here goes again thx Addz
  6. Cheers man that was good as addz
  7. How are we fellas, Im the new west ozzy in question with the dodgy CV Will have to get my arse into gear and get to the 21st trip meet ya's, Taken the terrano on the beach a fair bit, they go pretty good in the sand. Some aint always too happy either (bit of jealousy i recon haha) when ya crawling around at 1500 rpm where there bogged to the chasis lol Go the terrors Addz
  8. thx dave ill look into it and thx 4 the offer sounds good .Any specialist tools i need to do the CV's i guess i will just have a search on here and see what i can c thx again
  9. I thought that a CV would make noise when not in 4WD and when turning corners but mine only makes noise when it is in 4WD even going over the same bit of track in 2wd and 4wd results in differant outcomes (when in 4wd noise when in 2wd no noise) thats why i thought it must be the hubs coz only happens in 4WD But if it is the CV how mechanically minded do i have to be ? i mean the hubs were a no brainer and im not tooooo bad with a spanner and i usually get the job done but somethings are better left to a pro (even if it costs) dont want it failing on a remote beach somewhere ? this site makes owning one of these little beasts a lot more hassle free thx 4 the help fellas Hey Dave where abouts in Perth are ya Nor here, like the Terry looks good
  10. The front right hand wheel makes a pretty quick .........click click click noise but only when in 4wd even with brand new hubs so im wondering what the problem is. I thought it must have been the automatic locking hubs giving out but new ones in and still the same noise If anyone could shed some light on the cause of the prob that would be gooooooood. Thx
