  1. TD27 is definitely short on power, but they are very reliable and are very economical. If you really want to go the Diesel route, look at getting a QD32T, the Terrano R50 came with them, more power, still pretty economical from what I have heard.
  2. No worries bud, thats going on the back burner until the house sells anyway, have to do my BL, replace my windscreen & sort my intercooler/scoop out before I do the front bar. Am going to be doing the BL at JADM4x4's place this Saturday, he has just scored an ARB or TJM bar off a non forum member in exchange for some parts off his old 87
  3. Another option, drill a hole in the bolt, then once the lights are installed you can pop a rivet in there, that way all you need to do if you want to remove them is to drill the rivet out. Then pop another one in when you re-install them, heaps easier than welding.
  4. I'm doing my BL this Saturday, did everything myself. We had some 50mm solid aluminium bar here at work and ordered fasteners from one of our suppliers. All I need to sort out is the bumper relocation, which I may not bother with for now as I am looking at doing my own front bumper in the near future.
  5. Would it be dificult to make a mould up to make aftermarket bars? There seems to be enough interest around here.
  6. All Nissan except for the steelies, which are ROH rims off a hilux.
  7. I do now, picked this girl up from a rescue centre a couple of months ago, she loves the truck, but doesnt understand why she cant ride in the back seat with the kids.
  8. Looks awesome, something I might have to have a go at too.
  9. Heres one I found recently, certainly not a cheap option. https://www.4x4parts.com/catalog/product_in...roducts_id=4499
  10. Great job Tex, not many people would try to tackle that job
  11. Danrocks recently installed an Ironman lift in his 92. Was fairly cheap from memory. Not sure on costs to ship the parts to you, but if you cant get anything there you can have the parts delivered to me and then I will forward them on to you.
  12. Does it run through the factory amp? If so, this could be a good place to start.
  13. Wow, must have been a fairly hard hit to do that sort of damage. I hope everyone is ok
  14. Here is a mob in Oz who have perfected the Diesel Gas system, costs around 3800 to get it set up, but here in Perth you can get 3k back in govt subsidies http://www.d-gas.com.au/
  15. G'day LMT, I have seen a few V6's running around Perth on LNG, I'm considering a D-Gas system for my TD, gives an increase in power and efficiency. Not sure what the hesitation may be, did have the install done at a shop? If so, I would have it back there for them to sort out.
  16. I get a tear in my eye every time I see some of your frames in the states, makes me glad I live in the snow free land of Perth, Australia.
  17. Heres a link to a former active members solution, interesting idea, keeps the Panhard secure with the original mounts too. http://pcoa.org.au/forum/viewtopic.php?f=21&t=465
  18. I say out, be loud'n'proud mate
  19. Holy crap Tyler, I cant get enough of this truck mate. The only thing I don't like is the fact its in the US, I will never have a chance to see this machine in person. Will expect heaps of pics and vids when you have it back in the dirt.
  20. The comparrison I made between the H1 to H3 was nothing more than a tongue in cheek comment. At the end of the day, does it really matter what anyone thinks of your truck? As long as your happy with it, to hell with everything else. I live in the land of Patrols and Cruisers on every corner, us Terrano/Pathy owners are treated like second class and laughed at, but we don't care because we love our trucks.
  21. Heres a link to a decent write up that I have been saving for a rainy day. http://www.offroaders.com/info/tech-corner...onboard-air.htm
  22. Dude, I hope your running some type of top secret CV's on that thing, because I think stock might bind occasionally.
