  1. Definitely not a good idea, mine have rusted from the inside out. I cant even stand on mine without the factory brackets bending. You also need to anchor the sliders onto the frame, otherwise you are just changing the place that the damage to the body is occurring.
  2. have a look at the combination switch (headlight switch stalk), they are common problems, usually resulting in one headlight/high beam to go out intermitantly.
  3. I didnt get my secret decoder ring.
  4. Spot on, the QD32det came standard in the R50 Terrano, they werent offered with a 5 speed, but the 5 speed out of the WD21 Terrano will bolt straight up.
  5. Should have given us a shout Daniel, I did both mine last year in a few hours.
  6. If you have a steady hand, it can be done with a 4" angle grinder, which is what I used.
  7. Start by downloading the FSM from HERE. Make sure you read up good, then take your time. If you can, have your camera ready to take heaps of pics and do a bit of a write up for the rest of us.
  8. x2 I had the same thing, was only in 1,3 & 5. Eventually the bearing failed completely and I had a $1700 rebuild done.
  9. You could always remove the door, turn it upside down and shake them out. But easier to replace and forget.
  10. X 2 I used to use gravity to hold mine in, but figured I didnt really want to lose them, so I added zip ties.
  11. Free replacement with a brand new warrantied seatbelt Vs pulling a 20yo belt re-tractor apart and seeing if you can fix it yourself, no brainer for me, its your life and the lives of your loved ones.
  12. with the suspension lift the diff will be pulled to one side (your passenger side I think), you can get a panhard drop bracket to fix it, or live with it like I am.
  13. Wouldnt it be easier to buy a RHD Terrano? Looks good so far B, look forward to seeing the end result.

  17. Body lift can be done really cheap if you know someone with access to a toolshop and 50mm ali solid round bar
  18. We arent suppose to go any more than 50mm lift here in West Oz, but that hasnt stopped me from going 4-5"

  21. Daniel, if its not level and you want to re-index let me know, I did mine a couple of weeks ago. Its pretty simple.
  22. I will be painting and installing my 2nd one this afternoon, I will take some pics of how to install. They will come with all fasteners required to install them.
  23. I still need a sample wing mount one. I might be able to get a few wing mount ones done with the other ones, but will need a sample pretty soon, or they may do a smaller run for me.
