  1. Just be careful with that stuff, you dont want it getting on your hootus!!
  2. Always drop to at least 16 on the sand, have been down to 12 comfortably. As long as your sensible, I cant see a problem dropping down to 8-10 on the sand.
  3. Should have checked in the Oz section mate, 12A is giving a set away.
  4. That's me, have had 6 made so far, but I have access to trade cost material and a full CNC machine shop. I uses Ø50mm solid ali round bar, 4 of mine were 50mm (2") tall, 2 were only 30mm tall. If you can get aluminium, it would be preferable.
  5. Mines the same, Manual, 4.8 on 31's. I will get between 600-700 depending on how heavy my foot is.
  6. Best thing you could do is have a look at the R50's on the market for the same dollars as the pristine WD, if an R50 in the same condition is going to cost you a few grand more, grab the WD and put the difference into making it your own (tyres, lift & anything else you want).
  7. G'day Eric, should be easy enough to get hold of mate, even if they dont have them on the shelf, Supercheap will order them in, or give Perth4wd centre a call, they stock a few parts for them too. changing them is nice and easy, I have the workshop manual as PDF of you want a copy, has helped me a bit.
  8. Yep, TD27. If your looking at switching to diesel, try to find a QD32 instead, same block as the TD27 but close to 50% more power.
  9. I drove mine to work, same as I do every day. Might finally install my new aerial this arvo if time allows, it is currently sitting on top of my dash plugged in. Also will check fluid levels.
  10. neeeeeeds sleeeeeeeeeep

  11. ok, I've been to work, must be time to return home and go back to bed

  12. After sitting through that meeting, think I now have the IQ of half a brick, perhaps not even that.

  13. There is a guy here in Perth, OZ in the middle of the same conversion, I might see if I can get a sneak peak to see how his conversion is going.
