  1. Here ya go Infamous, these guys have a 94 V6 5 speed being wrecked at the moment, they are in NSW, but to have it trucked down would still come well under the 4100 you were quoted. You could even send us over a case of Jacks and still have plenty of change for more mods. http://www.tradingpost.com.au/Automotive/W...ckToResult=true
  2. Whats with the agro mate? If the guy has looked at a few physical tool kits and every single one of them is missing the rod, it wouldnt be wrong of him to think it wasnt part of the original equipment. BTW, cheers for clearing that up with the pic, thats what the forum is here for, to help each other & share our knowledge in a friendly environment.
  3. That sux bug time mate, it would probably be cheaper to pay the 900 bucks and look for a cheap runner & do the swap yourself.
  4. Oh, you mean like a H3 Hummer will out perform the original H1, now I get it.
  5. Looks sweet, all you need now is the TD27 and you would almost have a Terrano
  6. Measure up the distance between your rear view mirror and the moon roof, Matt should be able to tell you if the main body (section where deck mounts) will fit in there.
  7. It looks like marine carpet, UV & water resistant.
  8. Yeah, same here, definitely switch. I'm going to have to replace mine shortly, starting to call it blinky because your never sure which light is going to come on, then it will for a second, then fail again. I've pulled my switch apart 3 times now, getting sick of doing it.

    OH NO!

If your keen to do the manual swap, change the seal on the Auto(cheap short term fix to keep it going), then scrounge around for a dirt cheap manual, rusted out frame, dead engine, doesnt really matter, as long as its manual and 4x4. You should be able to get an entire parts pathy in the states for under a grand, more than likely running as well. http://phoenix.craigslist.org/cph/ctd/1311907900.html Could be worth having a look, as long as it drives you should be able to check the clutch/box and you get everything you need for the swap & any other part you might want.
  10. With my lift I can reach through the wheel arch and disconnect/reconnect quite easily, only takes a few seconds each side.
  11. I'm currently using 2 lengths of 6mm shock cord on either side, this keeps it roughly in stock position without it restricting articulation. Not sure about the front yet, I will pull it out and have a look one day soon.
  12. Not sure about VIC, but I know here in WA we are only allowed 2" body/susp/tyres total lift, so if you do 2" body lift, you cant change anything else legally. I think TJM have a mega sotre in Dandenong, or hunt down a local 4wd club, they will be the people who will know all your local mod laws.
  13. Heres mine that I had made up for the rear, fronts are next
  14. Congrats mate, not often you come across a find like that, dirt cheap, good condition.
  15. Well, its been put on hold for a period of time, hopefully they will come to their senses.
  16. Good job mate, only problem is the police are starting to phase out the system, the old UHF system will no longer be able to be listened to. My mum bought a scanner about a year ago, she can no longer listen in on a Friday night
  17. Currently running a Sony cdx-f5510x, MP3, Remote. Is a discontinued model now. As said previously, the beep can be turned off, as it will destroy any insentive to turn the radio on. Up until now I have only ever ran Alpine gear, but funds at the moment dictate that I dont have that option, as the family come first.
  18. If your planning on SAS anyway, why wait. If you can go without the truck for the time it takes to do the conversion and have the parts ready, I wouldnt bother with the IFS.
  19. Awesome work mate, as usual. When this thing is done it will be one of the sexiest engineered rigs I have seen.
  20. G'day Harv, if it were me I would run new wires to the head unit, that way you know that the wires are new and there is little chance of there being a problem with it.
  21. Sweet, if you cant find anything, let me know. Wouldnt be a problem grabbing something from the stores here at work & getting it over there, not sure about how long it would take though.
  22. What size hardware are you after sticky nips?
