  1. Woohoo, well done Nick, perfect timing to get your 100 posts up mate.
  2. Not as inconvenient as hydrolocking out on the trail though.
  3. JADM4X4 Hes the only bloke I know that would get a kick out of doing a clutch, just to ease the boredom
  4. Ohh, you missed it the other day when I was giving them out.
  5. I should be getting a new clutch in the next couple of weeks, hopefully at trade cost. Then just have to figure out how & when to change it. Where the bloody hell is Matt when I need him.
  6. Best place for custom work, click on the clicky below and I'll take you on a journey. CLICKY
  7. Welcome Mike, hope you enjoy your stay here.
  8. Here you go, this is for the R20 Terrano II. Still the TD27, but factory intercooled. http://carservicemanuals.blogspot.com/2009/01/download-nissan-terrano-r20-2002.html
  9. I run the TD27 Turbo here in Oz. They are a strong litte engine. Just dont expect to get anywhere in a hurry. I had a few pages out of the R20 Terrano workshop manual (might be a better engine choice as it has the factory intercooled TD27), I will see if I can find where I d/l it from when I get home from work.
  10. Ok fellas, Nick needs ur votes http://www.nissanpathfinders.net/forum/index.php?showtopic=26317&view=getnewpost
  11. Not good Addz, looks like Im in for a clutch myself, still going, but sure isnt well. Only gearbox place I know of is the one in rockingham, I did a few days work there as a temp, the guy who ran it then was a good bloke, but not sure if hes still around. I know terranoNZ did a gearbox rebuild with shift kit, I'll see if I can find the thread. Shift kit install http://www.nissanpathfinders.net/forum/index.php?showtopic=23830
  12. Ironman do a Pathy kit, they say 30mm, but given yours is an 87 its almost guaranteed it has sagged a bit so you will see roughly 2" GAIN. you should be able to run 31's stock as they were an option on some models. Check out the link below for the Ironman kit http://www.ironmandealer.com.au/pathfinderterrano.htm
  13. G'day Daniel, if you want a cheap 2" lift, you could just do a body lift, very easy to do. We did mine in about 4 hours with a few bourbons and plenty of chattin going on, only cost me 15 bucks because I had the blocks made up at work. If you want to do a suspension lift, try https://www.4x4parts.com/catalog/pathfinder-deluxe-suspension-package-with-rs9000xl-shocks-p-1627.html this is a true 3" lift according to the website, or there are a few options to change the springs in the rear and you could crack the torsion bars. Dont let the suspension mob fool ya, mine has a suspension lift of approx 2-3", then has a 2" body lift under it too, so it can be done.
  14. C'mon 510, you know hes the type of guy who will think its ok to do it.
  15. Tough dog here in Oz do T-bars for the Pathy, but I would think they would be more expensive being from here. Use the link below to see what they offer. Clicky Or there are some Ironman ones on Ebay here in Oz Another clicky
  16. G'day mate, welcome. Dont worry about being French, I'm Australian and still making mistakes.
  17. G'day Skip, welcome mate, hope you enjoy your stay. KA24 = massively underpowered, but treated right they will run forever.
  18. Thats about 70 bucks AUD, thats a steal.
  19. Looks like it would have been an awesome trip Nick, very jealous. cant wait til my 2 get old enough to be able to take them camping, I wouldnt be able to relax if I did now. Taking a week off starting Thursday next week, have the kids Wed night til Sunday, then heading down to a beach called white hills for the Sunday night, doing some fishing and 4bing. Has been too long since I had mine off road. Will be taking the camera, so hopefully I will have a few pics for you on my return.
  20. Welcome mate, hope you enjoy your stay. As for how to get better MPG, diesel power all the way.
  21. You certainly wouldnt be the first to stay without a Pathy. Dont be a stranger, see you back here soon.
  22. Definitely not mate, far too long. Best bet would be the QD32, uses basically the same block, puts out pretty much the same HP as the VG30
  23. G'day Leatherneck, where abouts in this great land do you reside?
