Wanted to keep my sway bar on as the missus likes to drive the truck and tryin to get her to not drive it like a sports car would be too hard. So I had the boys at work machine me up a set of disconnectors using solid 16mm & 25mm 304g stainless. Original hangers were cut down & threaded, then the 16mm parts were tig welded to the shafts, I still have to get some heavy duty shock cord to stop it from dropping too far. They can easily be disconnected & reconnected in seconds without having to get under the truck. This is the finished product in the back of the truck Installed but disconnected. Then reconnected. Overall I am pretty happy with them.

I wanted to get a boston, but the only place I could find one here was in Queensland and they wanted $1400 for one, I couldnt justify that for a family pet.

I'll make room, will know for sure when I rip the console out and have a look.

After stewing over cup holder ideas for the last couple of months, I believe I may have a solution. Its a cooler/warmer unit ($29.95 from Dick Smiths), with 2 cupholder built in. I already have power at the centre console, so that wont be a problem. Will begin looking at it this weekend, console out, start with taking out original box, then modify surround to accept this one. Width wise its the same as the centre console at the base, length its about 2" longer and height is around 1 1/2". The best part is it will keep 9 cans cool (20 degrees below ambient). Will post pics as I complete the project.

http://www.4wdsystems.com.au/html/main.htm I just had a look at the specials and they list a front lokka for the D21, is more $$$ than the 50 though
-
When I speak to him about the 21 I will ask about the rears also.
-
They definitely dont offer a rear for the 50 yet
-
Yeah mate, I spoke to Dave at 4WD Systems this morning, I will give them another call in about a month to see if I can find out when they will be releasing them.
-
Ok all, I just got off the phone with 4WD Systems, the front Lokka for the R50 is $649, they don't do one for the back end, would cost $20 to have it delivered to anywhere in Oz so not sure about delivery to the US. These prices are in Oz dollars, so you'd be looking at approx USD$430 + delivery to where ever you are. The WD21 is to be released later this year.

I had an old Mazda once, I had similar problems, it turned out that I had put the dizzy cap on the wrong way round, not sure if this is possible on the V6, but could be worth a check (wont cost you anything to check it), if not then start working backwards throught the ignition system, check leads, coil etc...
-
If y'all want I can give them a buzz in the morning, see how much they are and let you know, I can even get a price to ship them over there as I have a friend in the logistics industry.

Broken Key and my adventures from last night
DavefromOZ replied to unccpathfinder's topic in General Forums
Mine snapped in the same place, only mine snapped in my hand. Pretty sure it was pre-stressed though, cos I dont have super powers. -
I have been told that the local (OZ) Nissan Patrol tank is a drop in swap, uses the same hole pattern and everything. Will be on the list for later.

Broken Key and my adventures from last night
DavefromOZ replied to unccpathfinder's topic in General Forums
I had the same problem a while back, only have one key, on way out to the truck at 6:30am to go to work. All I did was run my thumb the length of the key with a tiny bit of force and she snapped. I ended up calling in sick at work and taking both pieces to me mate the locksmith, cut me a new one for nothing. I should get a backup cut too I think. -
http://nissan-terrano.info/specs/ This website lists all 94 V6 as having an 80l fuel tank
