  1. I need the tools and materials supplied, b-otch!
  2. Still a Handyman, going on my 5th year of it, was a commercial carpenter for 8 years before I switched to handyman work. I can fix/make anything if I can get the right tools and materials.
  3. The sway bar made bumps worse on mine, I love it without that POS on there!
  4. Especially if the trans is "going", do you really want to be in the middle of a blizzard this winter when it decides to completely go?
  5. Could be bearings, could be a tire about to let go.
  6. For it to just let go like that does sound like a bad TC.
  7. I think a guy with a Hardbody in NOAS has those in his. If not the Dakotas, then some other LED brand of gauges.
  8. Yeah, they both have, and someone did a writeup in one of the year specific forums.
  9. RainX does make a specific FogX product, but I have neverhad much luck with it.
  10. Swivel head sockets make changing our thermostat almost as easy as a Chevy V8.
  11. Hill climbs, towing, etc where you want to let it wind out a bit more before shifting. When I offroad I turn the OD off and the power shift on.
  12. It is probably the thermostat stuck open.
  13. Either try a rounded bolt head remover type tool, or cut the heads off, then drill out the rest and retap the hole. I have one tie down that I haven't replaced in my 93 because I broke the bolt heads off, on my 88 they all broke, and I just reinstalled them with self drilling screws. Not like the hold a heavy load anyway. As far as cleaning the gasket surface, when my o-ring went bad, I dropped and emptied the tank, then took a wire wheel to the surface, then wiped the seat and inside of the tank with paper towels. If I were to do it without dropping the tank, I might make some sort of plug out of a plastic lid, a screw and some duck tape. Put the screw through the middle of the lid, and tape around the edge, stick it into the tank holding it by the screw and then pull back up to stick the tape on the inside. Wipe the rim with a 3m/ green pad then use an old paint brush to broom the debris away. Yank out the lid and tape afterward.
  14. The 2wd and 4wd WD-21 have the same setup and same part numbers, just no CV in the middle of the 2wd. If you haven't removed the caliper, yeah it has to come off, just 2 bolts. If the hub/disc won't slide out after you accessed and removed the outer bearing, then you might take a deadblow hammer or rubber mallot and try to tap it off. If the bearings are so bad they came apart, the inner bearing might be stuck in a groove in the seat. Don't be affraid to beat on it, you have to replace the bearing anyway. Incase you don't have a part list and picture of the hub parts: My link
  15. I run Valvoline Max Life, no reason wasting money on synthetic on an old high mile engine in my opinion. Every older engine I have ever dealt with that got switched to a full synthetic started blowing oil out everywhere. With all the addative crap they throw in oils, they are all a synthetic blend anyway.
  16. These guys have about anything you'll need for mounting http://www.ballisticfabrication.com/
  17. Yeah, I have "power" and "OD off" idiot lights on my 93. Not sure what they put in the 94/95 Honda Civic dash.
  18. Doughboy banned for driving a Maxima.
  19. It is probably this +\(wd21&cPath=5572_5573_5590_5591"]part , it controls cold idle. If you look at the throttle lever, there is a little bump that this pushes against if it is cold, once it warms up the part retracts allowing a lower idle.
  20. Next time, think twice before using a vacuum around an open gas tank. Besides the fact you can pull fumes into a running electric motor, they tend to generate a lot of static electricity.
  21. Stock Nissan manual hubs did come in 27 and 28 spline, however the 28s are a lot rarer to find. I think either can still be ordered from the dealer, here is a part listing: +\(d21&cPath=3178_3179_3272_3273"]courtesy parts
  22. I've had a in the channel, and an outside mount (stick on around the window), the in the channel are smaller, but also won't rip off on the highway. The stick on ones used 3M tape and once a little spot came loose, the whole thing blew off.
