The delivery date for my Santaee is the 24th.

Here is how bad my 88 was: There is a void under there, but you have the exhaust running under the driver's side. I had the same thoughts, to put a deeper storage area there, but ended up just sheeting over the hole and putting a board over the top (removed the seats). Where Adam fixed, mine was bad too (dark pic, but you can see both sides were bad about 12"x3"):

Hell, the machine even puts the things that are off in bright red. What kind of idiot read that print out and said the alignment is fine? Of course I know a lot of younger techs who have no idea how to align anything without cam bolts .

The speed sensor gear that goes in the T-case? They are splined right, no glue needed? As for recalibration, IIRC even though it is electric, it can't be adjusted/calibrated for different tire diameters or gear ratios. Reason I say that is because I knew a couple Xterra guys who went with an aftermarket electronic speed sensor that they could adjust after they SASed.

I keep telling mine,"Speak English" when they meow at me, lol.

Just some stupid inner city club kid on Xtasy, who's friends decided to dump him naked in the woods as a joke.

clattering noise from driver-side front wheel
GrimGreg replied to texasmuddbug's topic in 90-95 WD21 Pathfinders
Cool you got it fixed, and it was something simple. Good thing you did fix it, wouldn't have wanted that to completely fail in a panic braking scenario. -
And cheaper to check/clean them then buying bulbs only to find out it isn't the bulbs.
-
Wouldn't be a bad thing in the rust belt, lol.

I've heard of adding some marriage weight, but dayum!

Switch contacts, search, common issue.

Lack of frame/rigidity maybe?

All it is is a drill guide, they make it sound like magic, but you still have to retap the hole to get the material out that is in the threads.

clattering noise from driver-side front wheel

First time I have heard of that being an issue. I guess it could be if you don't know how to tighten the bolts properly . -
Thank you Fleurys for the HiLift handle isolator, T-Finder body and sticker! (I'll have to get a pic, nice custom sticker !)

Mine did the same thing after my last wheeling trip (but driver's side). I was driving on the beach after and watched the top of my tire wobbling when I hit a bump and coinciding with the noise. Check your ball joints. -
Since my wife's Hardbody died of a t-belt snap (and other unrelated engine issues), first thing I did was change the t-belts on my Pathys when I bought them. Then I knew the interval for the next change, and had no looming worry.

What is scary is that Nunya must drive so bad that even he needs an "O-Sheet" handle on his side!
-
Yeah, I love driving in the snow! It is the other people that scare me too. Especially when they are blowing past me on the freeway in a 2wd and I'm going as fast as I know I can maintain control if something gave loose.

Were WD21's in SE trim available with Leather seats?
GrimGreg replied to ahardb0dy's topic in General Forums
Option on SEs in the 90s, standard on LEs 94/95. -
It goes on the outside of the light, over the black plastic side of the light. Does your's have the adjustable pad on the center of the side hoop? I know originally mine kind of like almost clipped into place over the light (before I bent them up catching them on trees).

I've had mine at some pretty extreme angles and haven't had any troubles.
-
Clutches are probably worn out in it then.

This is what mine looks like, Manik brand:
