So I just made my TOTM vote for Dec. Do I get my free front bumper now? Wink...wink....
-
The button is to switch between C, F, or off. On my '98 all the lighting stuff was screwded up. Including the cruise controle that shut off when you turned the lights on, ash tray light that comes on when you use the brakes and dim dash lights that dim every time you brake, third brake light that stays on with headlights....etc...etc.

I got pulled over in a seat belt check today. The police confirmed my truck was filthy. I took it as a compliment.

95% is pretty good ! Sounds like you have everything else covered.

Collector might good "terminalage". If I spelled that right. You just can't clamp that many wires to one battery terminal post. I don't know about what kind of area your wife lives in but...I've helped a few people on kijiji in my area Last time I did it for someone, her battery was dead because see kept trying to start it after it was out of gas. I got her some gas, gave her a boost and she made it to her dagauter's dentist appointment. She did have a neighbour watch out the window just to make sure I was a nice guy willing to help and not a perv.

My last truck had strucked Futs, bad shocks for about 5 years, bad knees ... but smooth driving. When I put on the new 31's I got a small vibe in the front left between 50 and 60... I'd rotate to see if anything changes before I did much else. Isolate . I had a "inner wall bulge"...replaced for free.

Maybe rotate the new tires to see if anything changes?

Your after pics look just like my '98 with 31"s and no lift(but a Chillkoot) Higher speed reverse power turn on snow (we call it a "James Bond") will rub front driver's side. Did yours contact the drivers side mud flap? One more question... Do you get rust in Panama? Your truck looks like new! I've got the same Warns on the old truck and looking in to them fitting the new(er) 2003 truck. Kevin -
Nice looker..what kind of HP does the 4.8 have? At least it doesn't have a lawn roller stuck under the tire. Woops sorry about the fancy letters,When it comes to typing...I swing a BFH.

So you're 2 WD?

What kind of a trailer did you get? I just picked up a 10' enclosed utility trailer and a 9' x 6' (inside) camper trailer. Both free and both within a couple of miles from home. Nice to pull out the camper that had sat there for over 25 years on flats and didn't even need the 4 wheel drive. My collection now goes from 4' ATV trailer to a 29' Fleetwood...it's so nice to tow stuff home because you've got a truck that can pull it.

I think someone once said "change one thing at time so the rest of us know what was wrong before you have it fixed!"

In my part of Ontario we have an "Emissions Test" every two years on our birthday. If you don't pass, you're not allowed to renew your licence plates. We do get two chances though...second time is half price. If your CEL light is on...you won't pass. Any mods. to the exhaust will not pass. My '98 and my '03 are simaller...manifold then cat. (each side) then muffler with dual inlet and single oulet with a resonator at the rear. I replaced cat back on the '98 last year for about $800. I needed one cat at about the same price. I ended up just buying a newer truck.

What brand and what does it do? KJ

Chainsawed out some of a ATV trail in my back 40...so my Pathfinder went where no truck has gone before.
-
Small tank 2 wheel drive...big tank HD 2WD or 4WD. That's what my book says. Either 60L small or 80L large.
-
I've had two Pathfinders and I always blackout the Nissan and Pathfinder stuff.. It keeps people guessing where the back door handles are.
-
I should have thought of that.
-
I could see it might be CV/axle joints if they were worn out. The hight change with new coils could send them wobbling. Warn hubs would take care of that or of course new axles.
-
The manual for my '96 Hardbody lists two tanks...one is 15-7/8 U.S. gallons (60L)and one at 21-1/8 U.S. gallons(80L). The larger tank came in heavy duty 2WD and 4WD King Cabs. I have a large tank that is out of the truck (in the shop storage) that would be easy to measure tomorrow, if that would help.

Anyone have info on a '98 and '03 both of mine only work on high. The '98 never worked but the '03 worked twice till it quit.
-
10 Degrees F. this morning and I managed to spin mud up to the roof line. Gotta like a four wheel drive!
-
My front speakers kick in about once a month to scare the crap out of me. My old Pathfinder ('98) only went to volume 11 the new one ('03) goes to 31. That'll wake you up in the morning.
