  1. I pulled a little Honda out on Sat. hardly worth mentioning. I didn't even get out of the truck. The guy had a strap on it...just waiting for someone to hook it to.
  2. I didn't seriously mean there should be one, I can see how it could be used in the wrong way. I may dislike things and events but not opinions. As long as opinions aren't stated as facts, I enjoy hearing others thoughts even if I don't agree. I do enjoy the "like this" feature though. It's a good way to tell someone you like there truck or work etc. without all the typing.
  3. How come we have a "like" button but not a "don't like" one for when bad stuff happens.
  4. Did you find out why the first one failed? Plugged cooler, lines, filter maybe low fluid from a leak? Normally they just don't fail, one thing causes them to fail. I'd stay with a auto. sorry if I missed anything in first post. Tighten up the valve covers a "bit". Clean things up and see if and where the oil leak comes from. While you have it apart its the best time to track down things like that.
  5. ...and keep pointing into the sun.
  6. Me too, Mobil 1 (5/30) in both the Pathfinders. Since I've been buying by the gallon for oil changes I use it in the lawn tractor and ATV as well.
  7. Is that first aid from Petro Can points?
  8. Well I don't know his truck so I won't make fun. All I know is that thing looks brand spanking new under there!
  9. We used to weld the rear axle for Enduro cars racers but for a daily driver on the roads, no way. Though sideway squeeeeling corners are fun...if you can afford the rubber.
  10. With some bolts on the old truck that I couldn't get to from the side with any tool that I own, I opened up the metal from above and drilled the heads off with 1/4" then1/2".
  11. Insead of a like button this needs a "suck" button.
  12. Like your '95? Well yea...my '96 snapped in two (Hardbody soft frame.) There seems to be a bit of salt around here lately!
  13. I had to remove the "slightly" rusty 8 from both trucks then replace 8 (after rust removale, retapping and some lube) again on the new one. There's a weekend I'll never get back. But it was free. I checked out U-Haul first and I think they wanted $250 for one. I didn't have to remove the resonator (what I call it) just unhooked the hanger and headbutted it over a bit. I'm thinking I had to move a vapour canister thingy on the driver rear to get a impact in there though. Man I hate touching bolt under there...every bolt feels like they will either snap off or strip the head off. I'm still amazed at your truck B-looks brand new under there.
  14. Is the resister behind the glove box somewhere? Both of my Pathfinders only have full fan speed or off.
  15. I took a factory one off a '98 and put it on my'03 which just had the little tow plates on it. It's a direct bolt on swap, between those years anyway. You might find one at a wrecking yard.
  16. Just caught this. The SE and Chilcoot were 265, the LE and XE were 245.
  17. I have 31 X10.5X15 on a '98. No problems at all. Stock height, stock rims.
  18. I just retired a '98 320,000 kms, runs great but just rottet underneith. I had the strut towers "repaired" under the recall but the front uni frame disintagrated around the repairs. Replaceing a fender is easy but strut towers, rocker panels, unibody front rails, floor, fire wall, rear wheel wheels, rear fenders lips etc. not so easy. If it's solid underneth then fix the rest if it's bad under it I would and have given up. I just bought another Pathfinder. For under 3 grand I up graded to a '03. Gotta like an extra 82 HP with the 3.5 and the better mileage.
  19. I'm still wondering if you over did the chrome. The lugs and Warns... O.K. but I'm still thinking the door lock might be too much. Just kidding, it looks great. I've never been a fan of the "milk crate" grill but it blends in good with the all black look. I'm wondering if your "desert tan" would match my Ont. "road sand tan"? It goes great with "black ice".
  20. A 10 second ride you would never forget, or maybe never remember depending on the landing.
  21. A nitrous Nissan? That would be great for rock crawling.
  22. 15.2 C above here...woopse that's inside. Come on March!
  23. Thanks! Did you paint it or buy it like that?
  24. The '03 has four cams, maybe you could get a group rate. You can do exhaust but...that might mess with emission testing depending where you live. Not many affordable HP options and still be legal.
