  2. Like your '95? Well yea...my '96 snapped in two (Hardbody soft frame.) There seems to be a bit of salt around here lately!

    Nascar fans?

Hang on to your Jeff Gordons...he's retireing after this year. His stuff will be worth some money for your grandkids. Not Robbie Gordon...he never should have started.

Carl's your cousin too.? Can't believe Kurt has been kicked out on an accusation. But Kyle was convicted of doing 135 MPH in a school zone but fans don't mind that.

    Nascar fans?

I was just wondering if anyone else watches the races.
  7. I had to remove the "slightly" rusty 8 from both trucks then replace 8 (after rust removale, retapping and some lube) again on the new one. There's a weekend I'll never get back. But it was free. I checked out U-Haul first and I think they wanted $250 for one. I didn't have to remove the resonator (what I call it) just unhooked the hanger and headbutted it over a bit. I'm thinking I had to move a vapour canister thingy on the driver rear to get a impact in there though. Man I hate touching bolt under there...every bolt feels like they will either snap off or strip the head off. I'm still amazed at your truck B-looks brand new under there.
  8. Is the resister behind the glove box somewhere? Both of my Pathfinders only have full fan speed or off.
  9. I took a factory one off a '98 and put it on my'03 which just had the little tow plates on it. It's a direct bolt on swap, between those years anyway. You might find one at a wrecking yard.
  10. Just caught this. The SE and Chilcoot were 265, the LE and XE were 245.
  11. I have 31 X10.5X15 on a '98. No problems at all. Stock height, stock rims.
  12. I just retired a '98 320,000 kms, runs great but just rottet underneith. I had the strut towers "repaired" under the recall but the front uni frame disintagrated around the repairs. Replaceing a fender is easy but strut towers, rocker panels, unibody front rails, floor, fire wall, rear wheel wheels, rear fenders lips etc. not so easy. If it's solid underneth then fix the rest if it's bad under it I would and have given up. I just bought another Pathfinder. For under 3 grand I up graded to a '03. Gotta like an extra 82 HP with the 3.5 and the better mileage.
  13. I'm still wondering if you over did the chrome. The lugs and Warns... O.K. but I'm still thinking the door lock might be too much. Just kidding, it looks great. I've never been a fan of the "milk crate" grill but it blends in good with the all black look. I'm wondering if your "desert tan" would match my Ont. "road sand tan"? It goes great with "black ice".
  14. A 10 second ride you would never forget, or maybe never remember depending on the landing.
  15. A nitrous Nissan? That would be great for rock crawling.
  16. 15.2 C above here...woopse that's inside. Come on March!
  17. Thanks! Did you paint it or buy it like that?
  18. The '03 has four cams, maybe you could get a group rate. You can do exhaust but...that might mess with emission testing depending where you live. Not many affordable HP options and still be legal.
  19. With mine I thought it was a belt but the adjuster bolt was siezed so that's why I had it all apart, which was a great time to remove all the AC stuff. Who needs AC in Canada? Cleaned up the idler and injected bearing grease into it. Quieter now than before it started squeeeling.
  20. Sorry I didn't know they had those limits in BC, I haven't lived there in 20 years. It's 80KM in Ontario and I've had 2 dogs and a sister killed by speeders, so I'm not a big fan of it.
  21. I will quote you "quick stop from 120 KPH". Glad you don't drive on my road..
  22. I'd say it's NOT your belts slipping but your idler pulley squeeling. I thought I had a loose belt till I checked out the idler. When I took the pulley off it would barely turn by hand it was so gummed up. WD40 and compressed air...put it back together and I had no squeel. The belt wasn't the problem.
  23. I know what you mean, the drift around my sunroom walls is about to meet the drift on the roof. Sunroom? I could develope film in there. I'm happy spring will be here in just about 4 weeks!
