  1. I voted for stock paint. I used semi-gloss on mine which I thought was the OEM finish. I remember one time I was in downtown Toronto and I saw a wd21 with gold painted tire carrier and fender flares. It scared me.
  2. I bought the monroe steering stabilizer from rock auto it fit my factory pin, but didn't come with any hardware. FYI.
  3. You could also go to a heavier weight oil and add some lucas oil treatment.
  4. Looks great. But won't it be a pain if you have to put something big back there?
  5. The VQ35 is well known for oil burning issues. You may not have blue smoke but it can still be burning. How many km's are on it? The 3 or 4 friends of mine with 3.5 powered vehicles started losing oil at 180k kms.
  6. It does matter. If the hole is not repaired then the new bushings will wear out in a short time and if the rod gets thin enough it can snap. I have seen people fill in the rod and grind it smooth. Or just get new ones. For the hole I had someone weld a washer on the back and they filled it in and drilled it out again. Haven't had a problem since. I used new rods though.
  7. They usually do stay lock if they are not worn out. If they are worn out and the brake plates slip they will unlock at random.
  8. Have you tried banging on the glass a few times with your fist to see if it goes off.
  9. I bought one of their upper ball joints. It didn't come with a blue boot but I've had it in there almost 2 years and its still good.
  10. It sounds as if your fan clutch isn't working properly. If you can spin it really easily it is probably done. My dad had a bad overheating issue on his r50 and it turns out his fan clutch was gone and his radiator was clogged up. It started out with just whehn the air was on but then it happened all the time. When its really hot outside it should sound like a bus.
  11. Nice work. One thing though, is there a chance it could hit the sway bar if the suspension really compresses or are my eyes just messed? Xplorx4 beat me too it oops.
  12. Bought an air filter but the laziness took over so I threw it on the back seat.
  13. I bought mine at princess auto for 45 dollars.
  14. You have the stock radio? There should be one amp below the radio and one in the cargo area. It really sounds like you have some blown fuses have you checked all of them to make sure they're not blown. Sometimes you gotta look at them real hard.
  15. I paid 18 dollars on rockauto for a set of "autolite" brand ones about a year ago and haven't had any issues.
  16. According to the FSM minimum brake rotor thickness should be 20 or 24 mm. It specifies 2 different types. I couldn't imagine a 260mm thick rotor Minimum for the rear is 16 mm.
  17. Northernpathy you could get one of those tape adapters and then your antenna should stay down if its like the above posters.
  18. Two things come to mind, I woudl check the master cylinder and brake pad thickness. could be that your brakes are low and just need new pads.
  19. I think the idea with the relocation kit is that it uses a larger filter, one that is also available pretty much anywhere.
  20. The damper is probably for people who suck at stick not jerk the truck around lol.
  21. Factory headlight protectors? I have never seen these before.
