That is a good idea. I have mine wired right now so that the switches are killed with the ignition but sometimes passengers mess with the switches and I get flashed during the day haha.

Seam sealer. You can buy it at body work supply stores. Goes over the welds to seal everything. Do not use caulking or silicone it peels off.

It's probably worse than it looks. Sorry to say that but when I pulled all my carpet there were holes under the sound proofing that was glued to the floor. If you can get access to a welder its not that hard to patch up the floor. Here is what mine looked like after I was done.

I drove around the usa this summer, about 15,000kms. My advice is this: -Change the oil right before you leave -Make sure your tires are good and balanced -Check for steering play/suspension play -Keep a basic toolkit with you -If you don't have a cell car charger get one -Check your tranny fluid and if it's dark or has never been changed, have it changed. I drove my 95 on said long trip and it hit 200k miles on the trip. I didn't have one issue except for a y pipe gasket and a cracked windshield. If it's running good, you'll do fine. Also if you feel tired pull over and take a nap. There are a lot of rest stops and most have free coffee and muffins in the morning!

And then if they don't keep their word the americans on the forum can do what americans do best and sue for a @!*%load of money. So win win either way! no offense but a lot of americans talk about suing each other all the time.

No Idea about the weight. I could move the arb around myself but like morpheus with the kma it took two of us to hold it to get it installed. I do know that the package in total weighed 150lbs according to the waybill when I picked it up.

The only time I ever really noticed mine come on was in the summer with the a/c on. With the a/c off it was quiet.

Actually the adjusters are on the top, nunya. Check to make sure the adjusting assembly isn't seized like mine was. The drums are supposed to adjust by use of the parking brake.

Lesson learned for using cheap parts! Don't worry it's happened to me too but it was with tie rods.

Jack it up and grab the tire at 12 and 6 and see if there is any play if there is your bearings are loose. Then rub your hand along the tread of the tire. Does it feel smooth one way but choppy the other? That would mean your tires are starting to cup/feather. What brand of bearings were used and did a mechanic install them?

When I put my arb on my 95 the front end went down maybe a 1/4 inch at the MOST.

It won't affect the cooling much if at all. I didn't relocate my rad and all I had to do to the shroud was cut 1 inch on each side of it off and it has never rubbed. Also I drove across the US (including texas, utah, nevada, california) and part of Canada this past summer (various members on the forum can attest to this) and I never had any overheating issues at all and I had the a/c on like 80% of the time lol.

What mine did was as soon as the clutch stopped sounding like a bus on a cold start it would start to squeak.

Also check it for lateral play. Mine was so bad it was making squeaking noises.

Could your alignment be off and therefore your tires be cupping? Mine did that and it sounded like bad bearings.

Does the whole truck shake or just the wheel or your seat? If it's the whole truck I would also check for binding universal joints, or worn bushings. These trucks seem to shake pretty easily.

Or just check to see if the distributor is turning. I had a code 51 on my wd21 and it still ran it just misfired for a bit on semi warm starts.

You can still drive it without abs. If the brakes still feel good with the fuse pulled I wouldn't worry about it until you have the time to deal with it.

If you hook it into the signal lights will it screw up the rate that they blink?

Did you make sure to put the new copper crush washers on and tighten the line properly?

I picked mine up from Crappy tire and it's been fine for a year so far.

Yeah it works better with the tube. I couldn't find mine but the nozzle shot perfectly straight so I just had good aim lol.
