  1. Even considering that, it sounds like it may have been the wrong part quoted. Perhaps a miscommunication? Maybe a call back to verify the price and if needed, question it if the price is still way high.
  2. Are we there yet?

  3. There are how-to's from the company and from everyday uses all over YouTube. You can also find vids of them spraying entire cars.
  4. Duplicate Topic, pleas see http://www.nissanpathfinders.net/forum/topic/36082-steering-knuckle-question/
  5. Came right up simply searching "Pathfinder" & "Today" But at any rate, 92Path_68CJ posted the link above to the existing and active thread.
  6. If you feel the thread would better serve being reopened, let us know (you can post here) and one of us can bump and reopen it, then the 45day time frame to close, will reset. But remember that has to happen before the 180 days expire, or it will get auto deleted
  7. I thought about that and noticed that it does not state that it accounts for it, but that I did not see that it does not either. That is why I searched out the makers website, but still no good info. Ever contacted them to see of they do, or can, make one to go over it?
  8. Never said it was the same, but along the lines and might be worth Leo's consideration... thus the " "
  9. Leo, http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/NISSAN-PATHFINDER-D21-JAN-1986-TO-JUL-1993-DASHMAT-DASH-MAT-DM167-/181164131506?pt=AU_Car_Parts_Accessories&hash=item2a2e3944b2 http://www.shevron.com.au/index.php/products/dash-mate/
  10. Yea the clino would be a hurdle for me as well, although I guess it could just be mounted on top of it.
  11. I have the Battery Life+ Solar2 http://batterylife.com/chargers/blsolar2/ And it has safety features built into it such as Short circuit, open circuit, overheat & overcurrent. The instructions also say. Now that said, this 2.5w charger is rated at a constant charging rate of 180mA (.18A) and cannot maintain my Pathfinders battery for more than a week. But take into account where I live and that I do have items that constantly draw of the main battery, and know it. Having this one, I now wish I had opted for the 5w, 410mA (.41A) version, in hopes that it would extend the time a bit more. Solar chargers with such low ratings are not meant to maintain a battery that has a constant draw nor are they really meant to power devices. They are simply meant to maintain a battery in a vehicle that is not frequently run.
  12. Just checked RockAuto.com and they list the switches for under $14
  13. I would not advise that, do you really want to risk it breaking off and floating around to possibly do damage elsewhere?
  14. I'm one of those few... Here is a topic from another member that might help answer some questions you may have http://www.nissanpathfinders.net/forum/topic/21986-rolled-crankshaft-woodruff-key/
  15. Please post the end results of this... aka, the bill!
  16. Along with that I would also add TRW, but as far as I know, they are not known for brake parts here
  17. Pretty sure he's safe from inspection in Oregon... unless things are different now. But, yes I agree completely that they are good to have. I also had the problem, I snagged one from a "fairly" low mileage truck in a wrecking yard (cost me $3-4 bucks iirc) and installed... problem solved.
  18. Not that it matters, but I actually think that is sun faded harbor freight orange.
  19. No friends/family willing to help, can't afford to have a shop do it, stubbornness, the "possible" reasons are endless
  20. I've had troubles in the past with that gasket and the one behind it. But you should also not rule out the manifold gaskets (where the exhaust bolts to the engine.) The studs that are used to secure the manifolds to the heads are known problems on Pathfinders and have needed to be replaced (often extracted after breaking) on a large number of VG30's (V6's) in these trucks... including my own.
