I saw a hardbody yesterday that I had forgotten about. It was a hardbody painted in the USA colors and looked like a Baja edition. I used to see them all the time years ago..... but havn't seen one in years now.... and this one looked like it just came out of a detail shop.... it was AWESOME!!!

Anyone know the name of them? I was trying to google it to get a pic.... but cant find one... :puterpunch:

It was equiped with a factory 3.2-L NPTI engine and transmission and prodced 340 Horses

I guess not all older nissan trucks were lacking in power.

That's amazing.

 

If only they put a slightly towned down version of that engine in the Hardbody and Pathfinders...

I'd be more than slightly, that the same motor nissan used in a formula car; 13:1 compression ratio!

Did a google search, tried AC because I remember a discussion about someone finding one for sale about 4 years ago, but couldn't locate it so I searched "Desert Runner Hardbody" and someone had this image posted on NOR.

Nissan made this only one year.

Last time I looked, the body decals were still available....at some $3400 per side.....

I have seen one only two before.

One in Lufkin, TX and one trashed (sad) one in Dallas.

 

I would probably kill for one as well.
