Well then, if you need them to last you a hard summer or light year until spring to replace, then it might work. I'm picky about tires, it only takes one slide to cause serious damage... B
-
More like 11.5"... I'm sure you can do it, but I think you would be happier with 8" rims or 275s, IMHO... B
-
Yeah, well worn, yeah, overinflated. They are pretty worn (unevenly), who knows how they balance and you still have to pay for mounting, etc. How many and what kind of miles do you drive in a season? What size are they?? I wouldn't pay more than $40-50 per tire even if I was desperate. B
-
What width, 10.5?? I know many people have 31x10.5 on their stock 7" rims. I'd lean towards the manufacturer specs though. It could even void the warranty... I edited the last post while you were posting. B

Don't if you are buying new quality tires. I have 31x10.5" BFG ATs mounted on 15X6" rims (stock chromies) that was done by the PO. They are pinched, somewhat curved across the tread plane and have not worn evenly. I do rotate and maintain proper pressure. No failures or anything but it doesn't look right or wear right in my experience. Perhaps if they are oversized trail tires run at low pressure it wouldn't matter?? What sized tires tires do you want to put on what sized rims? B I plan to put 31x10.5" tires on 15x8 rims now; almost all 31x10.5" call for 7-9" range rims. Just more info

Rusty plug wires and what else?? B

Body mount shifting or trailing arm bushings?? B

Glad you didn't get busted. I've lived in places like that before and it can be a problematic. I had an assistant manager try to warn me because I was changing a flat tire in the parking lot. She seemed to think that I had to get the truck towed or pull it off of the property to change the tire. I got that straightened out, but how stupidly rigid do you have to be to rationalize that? I was tempted to let the air out of her tire and hang out to se how it was handled... B

Less work for less results... Yes, and a vehicle to run for hoses, clamps and whatnot. That will cut the time down by 25% if they are capable hands. Read the threads, put bolt penetrant on where ever possible and bring all tools, jacks and blocks available. It's not hard, just a lot of futzing... B

I seriously doubt it, but you're a redneck so just drawl and give it a try... B

Yeah, there are a few threads but one fairly recent. Let me try to fire up my brain and find it... B

That pretty much covers it and yeah, the bumper relocation brackets are amazingly simple, totally useless and don't really match up. I took a few pictures of what I did with them in a BL thread, Garage section I believe. Are you installing a 2 or 3" lift? B
-
Yeah, I can't remember which thread... B

Welcome to NPORA, Fred!! The light bar for the 2 door (only through 1989 in the US) is sought after by many and I have never heard of the grill guard with a plastic upper... Hopefully someone else closer to you has better information and resources. Good Luck... B

I'm not sure I understand why it happened, but congrats on finding a new engine!! I hope the install goes as smoothly as possible and that you are back on the road (or off it ) as soon as possible!! B

I have never put more than 17.5 gallons in a WD21, but then I fill up when I hit the E line at the lowest. I have no desire to see how far it will go past that. My first 1/4 tank drops quickly so I'm guessing my fuel gauges simply read a bit low... (both 95 XEs) B

Let me see if I can find a thread... B Found it. Start here is my suggestion... http://npora.ipbhost.com//index.php?showto...;hl=timing+belt

Automatic transmission information for a 94 pathfinder LE

Exactly this. The auto wreckers may supply a good tranny, or not. It really depends on your time, $, place to work, how soon you need/want the truck running, etc... B -
Update on 4.3 vortec swap

This is our winch review thread but no milemarkers listed. I know a few members have them and they seem to work fine, but not owning one I can't say... B -
The O2 doesn't always throw a fault code. You can check the resistance but I can't remember the proper range... B

There have been various threads on that repair. Everything from custom to welding in panels from a donor truck. A quick search should bring them up... B

Yes someone in San Jose, Ca broke 500k (no engine work other than maintenance) but we haven't heard from him for a while... B

Are you saying you used 1/2-3/4 tank or 1/4 tank (from 3/4 to 1/2)?? Calculate your mileage by how many gallons you used. 15-18mpg seems standard in city/congested driving and 18-21+ for steady highway driving depending on how your truck is set up and what your driving habits are like... B
