  1. Holy cow, just read your "interests," and man I have not laughed like that in a while! I needed that...thanks!!!

  2. Bryan! I am waiting for the hoohaa-a-wave to go ding with my new CL all done!!! LOL
  3. I want me some headers! My manifolds are cracked and making a racket...geesh.
  4. I am with B... But then again it is probably because I am just not cool enough to have the internet on my phone...
  5. I am into a little bit of everything...I went to school for computers, and do some of that on the side. Build websites, and build/repair machines. I shoot a lot, mostly due to the job, but recreational is great...stress relief! I have built several vehicles, (my wife says everything I have ever owned that had wheels I jacked with.) LOL And I am in the process of remodeling... This picture shows a makeshift setup in the middle of a room that is about to be gutted...nice...
  6. Yea, good advice here...but seriously, check that blower motor resistor, you wont be sorry...and it really doesn't take that much time...(and may prevent your truck from burning.)
  7. Well, my truck is down too...steering issues. I should have pictures and video up tonight or by this weekend.

  8. That is the plan...scrounging pennies now to try and get a hoohaa, and scouring JY's for the right box and pitman...
  9. My steering box is still good...but I sure did jack up all the nice pretty new steering parts yesterday!! Tierods, and centerlink...and I do belive the idler arm are all gone...(not gone, just not good anymore...) Pictures and video to follow...
  10. Ive got one on my dash, buy no auto button...weird
  11. True, I guess I should not complain too much. I had to put a chunk of money into the XJ gears when we lifted and re-tired her. At least the Pathfinder has good gears from the get go...
  12. Dude its July! I have been following your thread for some time...update??
  13. Interesting bit there HB. I have wondered about building mine, with the upgrade parts available to make it stronger, when it goes out. I am not having any issues with it, and hope I don't ever, but you know how it goes... Again, pretty nifty piece of info.
  14. Was just looking through some of my 4WD favorites in the browser, and came across 4lo.com's tire/gear ration table. Here it is... CLICKY
  15. My truck has 4.60's in it now, factory according to the stamped emblem on the passenger side fender. For best economy, IIRC 3.91's are ideal for the 33 inch tire. I am not lacking power by any means, it is just mileage.
  16. Stay away from fastenal. Those guys are idiots!
  17. I dunno, will let you know when this tank is dry. I am at 140 miles and the tank is 1/4 full. I do not need a tune up, maybe an O2 sensor though...no CEL has ever thrown in my truck...
  18. I certainly did! My apologies!
  19. My daggum gauge cluster is all jacked up. If I had the time to let my truck sit for about a week, I would yank it out and make my own. Unfortunately the speedometer would present an issue. So I would end up having to use the factory one, just disconnect it from everything else...might work out I guess...just a thought, more like a late night ramble.
  20. All I know is that it is stamped Nissan... And sorry bout no pants! LOL
  21. I was averaging around 16 before the lift and 33's, now...whew its really bad. But that is part of it.
  22. I just looked at this thread again after posting to it some time back. If my post offended the author of the thread, my bad. I apologize. I agree with Precise and a few others. I have seen frame rot, but this is the worst case scenario. Whatever you decided upon doing is great. The key to this forum and our trucks, is individuality, no? So be it! I am with you, if I can offer any assistance, let me know!
  23. Yea, I had to check that for myself...however in the AZ store I work at, the automatic and manual transmission call for the same radiator... Advance auto has a listing for 2 different ones...and they ask what transmission. I assume it doesn't have them. But I have a auto...so cant confirm or deny.
