  1. I am still waiting on mine to arrive...man my truck has been down almost a month now....grrr And drilling a hole in the midsection in between the two pressed in bearings would allow for the zerk to get some grease in there...yes?
  2. Part of it I guess, I miss the west coast, but hey it is all good man...My wife is from Alabama...so go figure...
  3. You can also google TK1 steering mod. I gathered what I needed to do it, but time was not my friend, and me being a perfectionist with a touch of OCD...I would rather have someone who does it regularly and KNOWS what the deal is, do it... Besides I don't have the jigs set up either...and didn't feel like paying Bernard to make me some...
  4. Yea, the last time I went back to the west coast everyone was like "Man you sound like a red neck" Hahaha
  5. Good to hear you got it straightened out.
  6. Yea, sounds like intense resistance...that translates into heat. Check your wiring dude, may have something crossed up...
  7. Exactly why I am not going to do it...besides where am I gunna find one! Hahahaha
  8. Hey, the cost of living is what whipped me...whew. I don't mind the south, it is a different animal all together though....
  9. Yea, I bought my BL from 4x4parts, did not know about ruggedrocks at the time. I am all for supporting the locals....even if they are in Kali...
  10. I wanna get me a trim panel for my back hatch that says TERRANO LOL Then I would be cool like all the (insert any other country other than USA) people... Hahahaha
  11. Yea, I was amazed at how cheap stuff actually was as far as body panels.... Trim? HUGE DIFFERENCE....whew!
  12. IIRC yes. I was at a buddy of mines body shop and they had a parts book from keystone I believe that listed the same part number for a lot of different pathy parts. Fenders, doors, rear hatch, etc. Not 100% sure, because I was just leafing, but I do believe it is correct.... I am sure someone with some more knowledge will chime in and correct me if I am off base.
  13. The JY donor is a 94 SE with ALL the options... Mine is a 95 SE, just missing the discs... While working at the zone, the computer does not show a different part number for the master cylinder between the 94-95. Maybe no change is required?
  14. Hey bud, not to say that it is not frustrating....but I was advised that he was out of town for his sister's wedding. If I am not mistaken he also works a full time job, and does this when he can. I just recently sent him 3 cores myself, and he has since sent me a tracking number for my modified CL. Hang in there, he is legit.
  15. So nothing different to add disc to the rear of a drum truck?
  16. Yes, most of the jobs are getting outsourced. Unfortunately LE does not pay enough to pay the bills, being married with 3 kids. I work two other part time jobs to help offset the loss. Before I took the pay cut and went in to the political world of policing, I was a lead electrician for the school system in this county. Just got super board running wire and installing projectors I guess. Quite a big difference...at least now I NEVER know what to expect!! I have a suppressor for my patrol rifle, and before that purchase a buddy of mine and I (he is a machinist as you are) registered a design and paid the $200 stamp with the ATF for a 22LR can, we (well HE) milled out the parts and we put it together, it worked...but not as well as we had hoped. It was cheaper to build your own I guess, but when I finally bought the one on my rifle, it was well worth the cost. Besides, you live in Kalifornia...cans are way frowned upon there!! As are high cap mags, black rifles, etc...
  17. I am leaking oil like crazy from everywhere it seems. I have actually considered just yanking the motor and finding/fixing the leaks while I do a timing belt. Frustrating...
  18. Bernard is the international man of mystery...does everything...(scuba!?) I have done it a few times, went and got some seafood from the forbidden Peugeot sound lol shhh dont tell!
  19. That is a lot for shipping...but it is coming from Malaysia...
  20. Holy cow UNC, you must be REALLY hard on your vic!!
  21. I have an SE, has almost all the options with the exception of the adjustable suspension...and I think they may have been removed by the PO. My point is it has DRUMS... On this same topic, I have found a lone pathy in a JY, that has a rear disc diff...in my past experience doing disc swaps, I have always had to modify the master cylinder portion of the system...to handle the rear discs. Does that not apply to the pathfinder? Also I assume as long as the spline count is the same, third members should interchange...(this one is LSD)
  22. Give me a minute and I will go out and snap some pics...but it is pretty universal FYI...
  23. My MM hubs said not to grease them... I did anyway, nothing major just added some Schaeffers moly bond grease, not a whole lot, just enough to lube em up real good... Uhhhh....yea.... X2 (I second that) and I have had a few beers! Was sitting here concentraiting REALLY trying to figure out what the crap he was saying.... And amen saints of God. Kerosene lamps help keep the mosquitoes away but earl doesn't mind cause he never showers and when he does, its a miracle so the media arrives...
