Sounds like a heat shield fell off...

Unsure of your vechile in bad conditions and don't know your abilitys? Play in an open empty lot! Taking advantage of what you think the road is like can cause more issues than it prevents. 4wd and a slower speed to begin with would have proably helped divert the situation to begin with but it's already done and nobody got hurt so no harm no foul. Just remember as said though, all 4wd does is help you go, you stil stop the same(worse really since most people think it does and go faster since they have a sticker on their fender that sais "4x4")

Kind of my thougts, but we all know how I am with technical crap. But possibly one of(or both) hubs were in the lock position internally when you installed them and kinda unlocked as you were driving (in 2wd) and banged through the front drivine causing your bang? It only happened once?

I know if I disconnect my flasher button I lose turn signals as well... pull the trim off the colum and see if you now gone noise might be something ripped off the turn signal switch
-
Brown Santa took their time on my lca's for the 4runner too, would have been nicer than using the Kart through he heavy snow. Can't put the wheels on and push it to a different spot to make it look like it moved? Block it in with a different car maby?

As I said my flares are an easy pull so it don't really bother me. I can do it in my sleep from always doeing it trying to save my fenders as long as possible. (have to remember I been through a couple HBs before getting a Pathfinder). I don't know how it is pulling r50 flares though...
-
I pull my flares at least twice a year to clean under them. Fortunatly wd21 flares are easy to pull. Happy patching!

Switch hubs from side to side to COMPLETLY be sure if it's a hub issue. Only takes a couple minutes
-
mines ran between the frame and lower link... Don't touch at full flex but I still have my swaybar connected
-
I still want to do this one, you had any longterm affects of this one? (I'll search later) Make your own? If I can do it... There is a mod for replacing the idler arm with a manuel steering box, strength is the reason. Idler arm braces are helpfull but the steering box swap is stronger.

I've freed up stuck caliper pistons by grabbing what was sticking out of the caliper with channel locks and turning it for a bit( a fiew FULL turns, not just a little nudge). Still worked fine the day I scrapped that truck. As for the clips...USE THEM. And if I cna make a suggestion, get a little bit of brake lube and put a small coating on them on the side that contacts the pads. I know some people don't but I do...

No aftermarket support? There's plenty of junkyards for us to pull parts from other vechiles and make fit ours!
-
Don't put down cheapie chrome tips... Mine would proably shine if I cleaned it. It's cold out though
-
I like the smooth, wide look of them just not the extensions on them for the molding to line up or the way it looks like the mudflaps look molded on the one kiwipete posted(I don't run/like mudflaps). I'd defiantly bolt a set up but as most peopel proably have an issue with, you have to PAY for them first...

Thats just because the Nissan was the only one worth getting into so it wore faster!!! In all seriousness it's a weak link in many different cars and have had them break or seen them broke in multipule different brand cars
-
not 90-95 pacific because the 2 doors would be 86.5-89(ocasionally 90) since you be in Arkansas. 1 missing front cap? Elaborate a littl eplease for those of us tryign to figure out what a "front cap" could possibly all be... and as Red asked, are you lookign for an opinion or just makign a misc. comment? Gonna need a bit more info if looking for opinions...

Proably all HB parts which in turn proably didn't line up perfectly. If yoy still got the bumper brackets off your bumper and they ain't destroyed, try them to bring the bumper up a little (HB brackets have a little mounting issue)
-
could be a worn master, only stopping on 1 axle wort of brakes but you need to bleed all 4 corners. If you got soem air lurking in the back, it ain't gonna go away by bleeding the front.
-
kewrl? I might have to start using that just to annoy B since I think he cringes at some of my spellings to begin with... Try to get that video working man! So we can have more than a kewrl screen shot!

Just Talked My Buddy Into Buying A 1995 Pathfinder!
nunya replied to FUELER's topic in 90-95 WD21 Pathfinders
only if he bought different wheels as well with plans on doeing it every other month sorry kinda -
I guess he means he factory tire iron/lug wrench/window remover?
-
Nice info to know (and auto 2wd looks just like the one I took ot of mine when I did the JGC swap...minus the armrest, mine was missing)
-
That would be gold, not chrome... Onward though, if you have a complete doner, you got a big part of the battle done to begin with.
-
thats the clutch master cyl. Fill it and bleed it will give you temporary fix, but replacement is the correct choice. Don't recall them being verry expensive and it's 2 nuts a clip @ the clutch pedal, 1 line and the bleed process.

No worries figured it was one of those "I mean this but said this" type things since IIRC you have the 93+ HB front end as well
