Well I drove over this afternoon to Orange county and picked up the one the 3xbrits ordered for their 96, think I'm going to try and either epoxy or try some plastic welding and add the top and bottom clips plus the screws. Gauges, oil pressure for sure, maybe a vacuum guage to remind me to keep my foot out of it, and prob a water temp I've never trusted my temp gauge' Overall it doesnt look bad, we'll see how it goes

you might try checking the vacuum to the servo

Mine has V5 999T5 W3001 max weight 3500lbs max tongue is 350 lbs. I've had it on my 88 and the 94 and didn't have to pull the bumper on either to install it,the bolt and nuts were 19s if I remember

I don't believe your unit has a built in s.w.r meter in it, so have the antenna checked and probably the match set. The lower the match the better the radio will work, also a bad match could fry the finals in the radio, Welcome to the forums :welcome:

if he's using dual element bulbs on the trailer I've seen where a bad ground could cause a cross feed between the bulb filaments

A chemical check just takes a few minutes hopefully the fluid doesnt turn green from exhaust gases

If all work was performed at the dealership. they should have it on record. as others have said check for frame rust, I think the worst area is above the rear axle. I could add more but it's pretty much been said above. Oh welcome aboard it's a pretty knowedgable group here

Do you get very much airflow back under the sunroof from your lights? I opened mine on the freeway and everything was blown off the dash and you could really feel the airflow it followed the inner roof line to the windshieldand down to the dash,

Hey it a nice looking rig Nunya I installed my modified rack I'm thinking about painting the 4x4 badges flat black and doing the 4x4 in white

when we're traveling I'll siphon the gas into the tank then top off everything in the morning. and yeah I have had a few weird looks when I'm at a motel. If I remember I'll post a pic of my install tomorrow

My 88 has a rearend whine at about 70mph let off or acel and it goes away

looks nice for your first time with a stick welder, at least it doesn't look like a bird crapped on it

' I found it here in the forums he had 2 trucks 1 running the other was parts and the bar was on the parts truck I made the offer last year and he accepted it the only prob was he was doing a house remodel and the truck was about 200 miles away. Any way I finally got it. I paid $100.00 for it and shipping was $60.00 I think I got a steal. The bar, gasket, lights, complete wire loom, and switch was all included, it has 1 bad bulb thats no big deal prob under $10.00

It arrived this morning and I spent most the day sanding and painting the bar and lights and rewiring the lights and bar. Got it mounted and most of the wiring installed will finish up on it tomorrow
