  1. :Dshouldn't they be on the front. I know they';re hard to come by I'm looking for a rear and a front
  2. Both of mine are high enough I can just slide under and remove the rod without removing the wheels
  3. +1 I'm looking for a wrecked R50 local to do a major swap with my 88, engine, 5speed, & transfer, dash all electrical, and whatever interior parts I can swap out. I've been wanting to swap the auto for a 5speed for a long time and I figured it wouldn't cost that much more if I picked up a complete pathfinder, so far everything is either 2wd or very high mileage
  4. hope this works My linkphotobucket\ Pic #3 shows the valve the vacuum line goes to the other end of the valve has another hose that goes to the air cleaner
  5. said to hell with it and tie wrapped the sections of mast in the up position, yeah I know ghetto
  6. it's the cover that goes over the metal dash frame, or it can be an aftermarket piece to cover the top of the dash which are usually glued on
  7. we installed the Warh hubs this morning, passenger side took about 1/2 hour, drivers side about 2 hrs I couldn't get the bolts to break loose and ended up cutting the heads off the bolts then prying the auto hub off then what was left of the bolts screwed out with no problem, oh well its all done and I feel better with the Warn hubs on the 88
  8. Got my Warn hubs today and if it doesn't rain tomorrow they'll be on the 88, even opened up the lego caps
  9. On the 88 I used the 30/40 bosch relays from o'reilly for mine, and then went ghetto with my electric rad fan used a clutch inhibitor relay, only have the low speed on the taurus fan wired in but it seems to cool enough with the A/C. We made a Laughlin run last weekend from Elsinore and running the A/C most the way, never saw the gauge go over half way
  10. Great writeup, it should help out a lot of people maybe it should be pinned, +1 on the heavy duty wiring it makes a hell of a difference in the brightness
  11. installed a Nissan trailer hitch on the 88, another jy pick up
  12. ok I'm in Elsinore I'll be in SD thursday if you still haven't got it straightened out we might be able to drop by on our way back home and give a hand
  13. Not sure but I've always called it burgundy
  14. I'm sitting here with a relay and plugs in my hand, the 2 wires you want to jump are the black with a yellow stripe and the black with a pink strip, the pink may be faded and look white. They will be the heavier gauge wires, also they will be in the larger plug edit to add the relay your jumping is the wrong relay you want the other one, it has 4 wires and 2 plugs. It's in the pic you posted
  15. A couple more pics http://img.geocaching.com/cache/large/ecb592ee-a952-407f-9861-fed1a74107e5.jpg[/img] hope they help, just changed my pump a couple of weeks ago
  16. Do like I believe most of us here do, timing belt, water pump, drive belts all at the same time, saves time and money in the long run
  17. That damn relay caused a lot of problems when they first came out, try smacking it or make a jumper wire to jump across the 12 gauge wire terminals on the relay plug. Just make sure it's in neutral or the clutch pedal is pushed in
  18. If you can't find it, try some Berrymans B12 in the spray can it works great for finding vacuum leaks, it also works pretty good as a starting fluid
  19. http://s1208.photobucket.com/albums/cc362/dosvagabonds/?action=view&current=PICT0096.jpg A pic of my 88 I'm not sure if all the square dashes had the slot for the parking brake
  20. My 88 SE 3.0 Auto LSD has 4.6 My 94 SE 3.0 5 Speed LSD has 4.3
