  1. My 88 is about 31 1/2 inches nonpower, the 94 is power and it's 33 inches
  2. Well I fixed the rear defogger/defroster. It had A direct short, someone had changed the rear glass rods with some aftermarket ones the bracket that mounts to the hatch was almost an inch longer then the factory ones, and they were hitting the leads on the glass, simple fix bent them down. If they had been a bit longer the glass probably would have shattered, there was just enough pressure on the glass to pop it up when the switch was used.
  3. The nozzles should be adjustable, like the front ones are
  4. Replaced the wiper blades on the 88 & the 94. Started checking out why the rear defroster doesn't work on the 94, and got side tracked on why there were no lites on the 4 way or defroster or the dash lite switches, after taking them apart I found that some of them did work but with the color shields they were to dim to see, pulled the little color shields off them and now I have light although the dimmer switch is a bit bright. Tomorrow back on the rear defroster
  5. Did the bedliner thing to the 94 today just followed the bottom line
  6. For some reason that color is as rare as hens teeth or 20 year old oh never mind
  7. Ok from the last week everything came off of a 94 speaker mount and front bracket, you could get by without the bracket but it only takes a couple of minutes to pull it 2 screws per side the main problem is the 94 headliner is narrower the 88 or the 2 doors so what I did was cut off 33 inches of the 94 headliner so all I had was enough to cover the speaker assembly I cut the 88 headliner at 34 inches then pulled back an inch of fabric and re trimmed it to 33 inches I haven't re glued the fabric and you'll notice the shoulder harness in place also now for the shoulder harness without measuring I thought Id be able to use the 94 trim panel but as you can see there is a difference so I slotted the 88 and notched it The seatbelts were really no problem, but as was mentioned to me by someone who likes pink make sure you get all the parts and make sure they go back in the right order
  8. Well no problems with the map light, used a motodremel to do the metal trimming and an exacto knife on the head liner picked up the hot lead from hot wire going to the dome light. Pulled trim panels and rear headliner, positioned speaker panel and drilled mounting holes, ran speaker wires to the side panel speakers and removed side speakers, the speaker cones were still in one piece but I decided to delete them. Started installing new head liner and it looked a little odd, when I started installing the trim panels I could see the problem, seems like the four door headliners are about 4 inches narrower, length is good just the width. So I'm either going to have to rework newer trim panels or splice the 2 headiners. maybe both. it's all in and sounds good it just looks crappy. There are mounting threads for the shoulder harness
  9. Another run to pick a part, picked up the map light? that goes by the rear view mirror, also the rear headliner with the speakers and bracket all for the 88. I noticed when I pulled the front headliner that there were holes for a grab rail on the drivers side, I knew they were there on the 4 doors, something else to add to the list. I think someone mentioned awhile back that the 2 doors had the mounts for the shoulder harness for the outer back seats, will check and see. Pics coming as I do the rear headliner. I didn't take any pics of the map lights as I know it has been done before. Oh I also found a 93 owners manual so it was a pretty good day scrounging
  10. If you stuck it before putting it in 4wdrive that could have been your problem. with the auto hubs it takes a few feet for them to engage when they're working properly. also I wouldn't recommend driving around in low range on a hard surface
  11. The rt side marker was busted up. the left needed paint so we'll be looking for a rt side, maybe I'll stick the left on when the paint drys. We'll add a rt side marker to our list
  12. Without Nissan emblem With emblem we also have the 4WD emblem, but I think I'll leave it off
  13. We got lucky today and picked up a grill and headlights and a right front marker light off of a truck. Lights are installed, painting the grill and installing it tomorrow, oh its going in the 88, also installing tweeters in the A posts pics when installed
  14. Verbatim *5 truck..2wd, E models equipped with vg30i engine and 4wd,king cab models equipped with vg30 engine van/wagon...vg30i engine models
  15. Here's the page out of our 88 you'll have to enlarge it to read, sorry it's not a better pic
  16. I paid about 160 for my warn premium hubs for the 94 Amazon scroll down to the pathy hubs
  17. I've never ran the 88 or the 94 dry, but I've put in 18+ gals in both
  18. 88 and 94 both SEs Love the heated seats in the 94 on a cold morning
  19. refill at a 1/4 tank and see what it takes, my 88 drops fast to a 1/4 tank and I still have almost a 1/2 tank. The 94 seems to to hang on full then drops fast to 1/4 fuel light comes on at empty and I still have almost 3 gals left. 94 gets about 18 1/2 on the freeway at 70-75 thats loaded with about 300 lbs of junk and a 100 lb lab, wife and I add about another 330 lbs
  20. Changing oil and filter in the 94, and debating whether to swap the lego rims and tires from the 88 over to the 94
  21. I went to Radio Shack and bought a spray can of their tuner tonic, worked great when the switch on the 94 started acting up
