No sanding or solvent. Just a good wash with dish soap to remove any old wax and oils. For wheels maybe a good scrub with Simple Green or equivalent first then the dish soap. If you sand or scotch brite the surface. Then you'll pretty much never get it off. And if you do it'll look like crap. Sent from my Moto X!

I know about 8 guys that have been running treadwrights for past couple of years. No major issues. The only thing I can think of is to call and see which carcass they have available to make the tires. Sometimes you may get 3 with BFG and one Goodyear. But 90% of the time you get 4 matching. If you're worried about bad gas. Can disconnect the fuel return line and run it into a large bucket. Turn key to engage fuel pump but dont start and let it push the old gas out into the bucket/container.

The "clicking" sound is probably your CVs making a racket. Try to get a good pick of your CV angle. If you have a Android phone. Make sure its signed in to your google account and let it back up the photos online. Easy to link em here. If your camera is giving you fits.

Wheels/lugnuts tight? If so, could try swapping fronts to back to see if it goes away from a tire issue. *On the note of CVs. Wasnt there a recent thread of someone having issues with aftermarket CVs compared to OEM?

Jelly of the guys with factory carriers back there. Probably to much hassle to retro fit one.

Most likely caused by the neutral safety switch. Needs to be in neutral to turn key to even try to start. Other wise cuts power to ignition.

Carry a small tape measure with your tools with you.

Throttle body spacers are worthless because of the intake runner length. The only way to gain anything would be a intake spacer between the upper and lower intakes. But increasing the runner length will gain torque. No horsepower gains. Even then it would be minimal at best. The best way would to have the intake spacer made of a non heat transfer material. Such as phenolic block. Again minimum gains. Easy way to understand this is look at the evolution of GMs TPI intakes to LT1 to LS1. The reason the LS1 works so well is because of the efficiency of its heads with the cathedral intake ports matched to the intake. Take a look at the 3.5 intake. With its power valve system. Long runners for torque and cruising efficiency. Opens up for short runner length for HP when needed. Sent from my Moto X!

Good News; Bad news. I called IronMan USA. A shipment is on the way. Bad News: They vented that their containers seem to be targeted by customs in that at times they are held a extra month or longer before processed.

The one draw back about OME and IronMan coils is that we are at the mercy of shipments from Australia. Which only comes every so often. I think they may only ship em once per quarter. Which sucks. But at the same time, the Pathfinder/QX4 community does seem fairly small compared to others. The only other company that I can think of that might be of some luck is Cruiserparts.net However, I would call them to verify everything. I have heard a few times that they will charge a order, even if its backordered for weeks.
