  1. I would call them. Because last I heard. Steve needed a commitment of 25 orders to get it rolling. So it was put on hold.
  2. It moves outward which causes it to hit the rim. (^_-) Sent from my Moto X
  3. How new are your pads? Ive heard of people fitting wheels fine. But when they change the brake pads they dont fit anymore. For you facelift only guys. Sent from my Moto X
  4. Ugh mine suck. But are 16yrs old. Sent from my Moto X
  5. All electronic was plugged in except the maf. Which will just put the ecm into closed loop mode. As for those lines. It just acts like a vacumn leak. Thoae are just to vent the crank case. Sent from my Moto X
  6. All said and done. Had to take a 6hr round trip for work yesterday. Ran like a champ. Even got better gas mileage? But I'll see how it goes for a few tanks. A mod can close this thread. If they want can use the YouTube link for reference if they want. Sent from my Moto X
  7. Just depends on actual tire width at the strut perch. I know when my Cooper STT were new. They just barely cleared. So any taller would require a spacer. Check Stoic thread on expedition portal. He's updated that one more often. I know he changed tire size recently and I think he took the spacers off. But he's running a 245 or maybe even a 235 wide tire now. But taller a full 32" tall. 8. 15 +/- 2* Technically it can be from 13-17* Sent from my Moto X
  9. What do you guys do as for the engine mounts? Since the engine has to stay the same height?
  10. Yup. Guess I just didnt get it tight enough. Its all done and complete. Fluids topped off and drives great. I have a long trip for work tomorrow. Once at the destination and work complete. I think I'll check the timing again. Because I did mark and pull the distributor out. To check its teeth and its bearing. Even though that was just done last June/13. Depending on how it drives may advance it a smidge since it was set for 14*. Still there with the TPS disconnected and ECU reporting 14* no advance. Reconnect the TPS and ECU takes over in the advance and retard of it. I'll just double check it to be safe. Oh, and because of the extra time it all took. Didnt change my oil. I'll do that Thursday probably.
  11. Done. Purs like a kitten. Oh dont try this at home folks. VG33E Timing Belt: Sent from my Moto X
  12. Ok the noise was the drivers side cam sprocket bolt loosened up. So it was no bueno. Got it 80% back together and fires up and idles. Valve train is still noisy though. However a lot is still disassembled. Sent from my Moto X
  13. Oh lordy. You have to posthis response to this. See how long you can keep it going. Sent from my Moto X
  14. Found something. Update later. When clean and finishing up some stuff. Sent from my Moto X
  15. Guys, the heater core is on the passenger side, along with the AC drain. Drivers side wet? Yes, I would check your sun roof drains. Unless of course you left it or a window open? Open the sun roof and stand on the drivers side sill. Up top you'll see em. Might have to blow them out or clean em out with long skinny flexible wire.
  16. Started right up this morning. Still has the sound. I'll take a video and post it. But basically sounds like a collapsed lifter in a small block chevy/ford etc. Sent from my Moto X
  17. Once the TB was on and tension set. I rotated the engine by hand 7-8 times. If the valves were to hit. I would have been stopped there. Unless Im mistaken. Or really stronk? Sent from my Moto X
  18. Just going to rip apart the top tommorow and set to TDC and see where the marks are Sent from my Moto X
  19. Yup. Noise is from valve cover area at first it sounded like dead lifters. But stayed after 2 mins of running. So shut it down and called it quits Sent from my Moto X
  20. Finished up today. Aligned smooth and teeth count was perfect. Fired it up. And making a racket. Shut it off. Guess I'll tear it down tomorrow again. Sent from my Moto X
  21. My bet the distributer. Pull the inner cover off when you pull your cap. See id the coil or ignition module is bad or grounding out Sent from my Moto X
  22. Before you do that pull your distributer cap and look for red dust. That sounds more like you distributer causing issues. If there's a ton of red dust. Take off the internal cover and check if your coil is grounding to the housing. That's what mine ended doing. Because of the miss fires it will throw the knock sensor code. Oh and check that all your connections on the passenger cover are seated good and your plug wires. Sent from my Moto X
  23. That was funny. Typical GM car. Sent from my Moto X
  24. Looks good! have you tried getting your had up in your rear bumper to try to push that out? If its only the cover that's pinged in.
