  1. 2004 Pathfinder with battery drain over 2 - 3 days. After systems go to "sleep" I found a constant 90ma drain. After sorting through all of the fuses, the drain drops to 20ma when the fuse for the smart equipment control unit is pulled (fuse #24 in passenger compartment fuse block). 20ma drain seems to be a reasonable amount of drain, 90ma does not. Has anyone experienced a similar issue with this unit and does anyone have any advice on how to troubleshoot this unit? Thanks in advance for any help! Jim
  2. I have seen photos of an adapter for a blade type fuse that clips to a multimeter then substituted for a fuse to measure current flow through the fuse box for a circuit. Has anyone used this type of device or know where one can be purchased.
  3. Thanks for the responses. That's what I was afraid of.
  4. Battery drains in less than a week when not driving my '04 Pathfinder. Replaced battery but problem was still there. Connected an ammeter in series with ground lead and found a steady .75 amp drain. Started pulling fuses one at a time to check for root of the problem. When I pulled the audio fuse the loss at the battery dropped to .09 amps. Stock radio with no audio mods. Has anyone else had this problem? Not sure where to head next, any suggestions would be appreciated.
  5. I am having a leak down the drivers "A" pillar and suspect the sun roof drain as reported in other threads. At the front drivers corner of the sunroof there is a plastic assembly that I suspect is part of the drain. does this come off so I can access the drain tube, or does that have to be done by taking part of the headlined out? Thanks
  6. When I put a straight edge vertically against the rear wheels and measure the distance to the body, the passenger side is + 1 inch relative to the same measurement on the drivers side. I just had all four rear trailing arms replaced to cure the "death roll" problem at highway speeds. The trailing arm replacement cured this but now when you either accelerate or decelerate at speeds greater than 40 MPH, it darts in one direction or the other (to the right under acceleration and to the left when decelerating). It tracks good and straight on the highway at steady speeds. Has anyone else experienced anything like this? Thanks
  7. Thanks for the response. I wanted to order track bar/panhard bushings for my '04 LE and the Nissan part sites show two schematics for the rear suspsnsion but they don't identify which is which.
  8. Were there two different designs for the 2004 2WD rear axle suspensions? Thanks
  9. Thanks for the quick response. I replaced all four links with Dorman units. With the way it changes direction by applying or removing torque, I suspected that it may of had something to do with the panhard bar. I will have another look at the sway bar link bushings. Thanks again Jim
  10. Had the usual wobbling issue at highway speeds and replace all four rear link assemblies. She tracks down the highway nice and straight now but when I tip into the accelerator it darts left and when I let off it darts right. This is most pronounced at highway speeds. Is this a track bar/panhard bar issue or have I missed something else. Thanks in advance for the help
