  1. I don't own a r50 but if you get a fsm for it, it should let you know.
  2. Can you put up a picture of it? At some wrecking yards they will mark parts with paint to identify good parts from bad. If you want to know of you have lsd just jack up the rear end, release the parking brake and try and turn the rear wheel. Oh yeh make sure to chock your front wheels too.
  3. Drill a hole at the end of each crack so it doesn't continue to crack.
  4. Ah found it, here is a slideshow of a dash swap for a d21 and if you click here and scroll down you will find the photos.
  5. Someone here had a whole album dedicated to a square to round dash conversion but I can't seem to find it. EDIT: I think this is it. There is also this.
  6. I have posted this in op's other thread but because it was unseen here it is. Also could a mod merge the other thread with this.
  7. I can email you a service manual for a navara with the z24i engine. Its the same one I use for my 89 terrano which has the vg30i engine and the manual has both.
  8. Nah I meant like pretend I didn't post before and your identity is unknown but I was half serious.
  9. Could a mod merge this with ops other post.
  10. Just like the early ford ba series car, the r51 pathfinders have/had the same fluid contamination problem where there is a cross fluid contamination where the engine coolant and transmission fluid cross via the radiators transmission cooler. I don't know if that's what you have but the ba series had the same symptom of missing gears. You could start off by draining your coolant into a clean container and look for any red/pink residue. When your mechanic serviced your pathfinder he probably changed the fluid which would have temporarily fixed your problem. If what I mentioned is your problem buy an aftermarket transmission cooler ASAP.
  11. Thanks although now I kinda feel bad for ruining your plan. What really got my attention was the white coolant elbow, after seeing that and the blue valve covers I though to my self that it might be some crazy coincidence but after some stalking/investigating I could confirm it was you but by then I couldn't delete my first post. Maybe we could all still play along like this wasn't uncovered straight away? But that aside good job with the supercharger .
  12. Also the original picture is here notice the username? MY1PATH has a 1979 Yamaha xt500 and so does this guy yamaha sr500 same username. Its the same guy. Conclusion It is him.
  13. MY1PATH has a 89 2 door same colour body, valve cover, coolant intake and was going to supercharge a vg33. Coincidence no? EDIT: He even looks abit like him if this is his yahoo profile, maybe its just me? Also MY1PATH photobucket is ghj018
  14. It also depends on your wheel dimensions such as width, offset and backspacing. Offset and backspacing being a big one, If you can find a set of wheels with a nice offset and the right lug pattern jump on it.
  15. Another black 2dr R3m nice . Are you missing some wheel nuts?
  16. See that blade connecting on the bottom of the second photo? If i don't have my immobilizer remote then I have to use that to deactivate the engine immobilizer and to make it worse when you use the connector you have to do it in a certain patter something like (Key-ACC position, connection off, Key-on, connection on) I'm pretty sure that's wrong but when i didn't have batteries for my remote I had to play around with the patterns till I got it right .
  17. When I had my instrument cluster un hooked my stereo didn't want to turn on, this probably doesn't help but just throwing it out there . Tell me about it... I'm going to throw away my: Stereo, speakers, factory amplifiers and associated wiring. From there I can start fresh and clean up my wiring mess. Good luck .
  18. Gave my tire carrier a quick paint job mainly because i was getting rid of the surface rust, it looks much better than before but close up you can see the imperfections. I suppose I will give it a thorough do over when I buy more paint.
  19. I think it was the gearing or something because of a different idle speed.
