  4. It holds your gears for longer that's how you get the power, it's not like nitrous or anything where your engine makes more power.

    Door Question

Thanks for that, after reading abit online it seems that it also serves other similar purposes such as: keeping dust coming through the window form entering the cabin and also keeping in the dry air from the air conditioner in the vehicle.
  6. The little sham-fer at the bottom makes it look sad, compare the face of a hardbody to a pathfinder and you will see that the hardbody looks "Tougher" and the pathfinder/terrano looks "Sad".

    Door Question

I'm in the process of replacing my driver side mirror (RHD) And instead of replacing just the mirror glass (Way too much of a pain) I am replacing the whole mirror assembly down to the connector. So I have the mirror unhooked now and I had to peel back that plastic skin that is in between the metal of the door and the panel that you have to remove. Is it ok if I just peel off the whole skin and throw it away? What is its intended purpose.
  8. I counted 7 axle stands . Welcome to Npora.
  9. His is 2wd, It's either lower it, turn it into a tow rig or lift it and give it really long front control arms for plenty of wheel travel.
  10. You get that way more nowadays than before, They were build to last before, well to an extent.
  11. Impressive, would you also be able to take a picture of your lights down a dark road, low beam and high.
  12. In Australia we call those nudge bars because that's all they're good for. Fabricating is almost always the best option but if right now that is out of the question I would say go with the second one. It is only an extra hundred or so and not only will it make your rig look MUCH better than the other one would, but it has a much better/stronger design than the other bar and would protect your vehicle much more in the event of a collision.
  13. This wasn't jiffy lube was it?
  14. It is meant to cut engine power not braking power.
  15. Do you leave it in a foreword gear when you are rolling back and just push the clutch in? Or do you put it in neutral?
  16. There is a company called "Cornay" who make high angle drive shafts and cv axles I think they cost a fair bit but it might help to get some more flex without busting your cvs.
  17. Here is My1paths thread with pictures.
  18. You have to ask a mod to edit. New forum rules because people abused the edit function.
  19. MY1PATH had a hidden snorkel that he fabricated on his rig. I can't find the original thread put i can find one of the posts where he shows the majority of it. This is how he hooked it up to his tbi intake.
  20. If you haven't already, you should post this on other 4x4 forums that have r50s to expand this list quickly and after the name in the list you can put the forum that they are on in brackets.
  21. People did mention the end links but he said they seem fine and the nut was tight. Although like you mentioned it is worth a try to remove both and see if it eliminates the problem.
  22. You might be able to duplicate the noise that way, if you can then it should help you pin point what it is.
