  1. This kinda reminds me of the car from "The car" lol. And also the were car from futurama which is based off that. C'mon now, you have to give the zombies a chance.
  2. You could always try wiping your finger on the leaking area and smelling your finger, then compare that smell to your: atf, brake fluid, power steering fluid and fuel.
  3. I think he meant something like this. I was thinking the same thing a while ago too, it would be a nice feature for npora. EDIT: I think this is the feature needed but it would add to the costs of npora.
  4. No problem, remember to post some pictures of your rig we all love photos.
  5. It seems that allot of people in australia seem to disregard the wd21 and got for a hilux or patrol as an easier alternative. You will find plenty on information you need for modifying your wd21 on here. I say you keep it and modify it to your hearts content, it is so rare to find a modified wd21 in australia that you will stand out for sure if you plan on going though with this.
  6. This has got to be the oldest thread revival ever! These are getting ridiculous now.
  7. I hope you are not taking this the wrong way about the post placement, the main point of my comment was about the photo sharing and the part about the topic placement was just something minor that I found odd. You do have a point with that other build thread (I think I know the one you are talking about) and stuff like this happens where a post gets put in the wrong place. But after all "Solid Axle Swaps, Hardcore Custom Fab" can be very similar to the content in the members rides section and what I pointed was something very minor and doesn't even really matter. Tungsten has a album for his custom 2wd steering setup on his facebook, and be not being friends with him on facebook I can still see the photos but when you go on his topic on npora the photos can't be seen, so while you are right in regards to the privacy settings affecting photo links it seems that facebook still changes the photo url and you can check yourself by checking the url of his photos in the npora topic an then checking the url in the facebook album.
  8. Nope not hardcore enough . The reason I said that is because from what I've seen the "Solid Axle Swaps, Hardcore Custom Fab" Is more for individual stuff e.g. solid axles swaps, engine swaps barwork etc. All of this I'm sure your thread will have but because this is all in one thread that is usually where stuff like this goes into the members rides section. Topics in the members rides section also contain some smaller misc mods e.g. cupholders, guage installs, body lifts etc. What I'm trying to say is that topics in the "Solid Axle Swaps, Hardcore Custom Fab" are usually specific to a couple of mods, but when you're doing a whole vehicle or even two if you're including your 91 SE the topic becomes more "general" and not so mod specific. As for photo sharing sites the reason I said that is because I've noticed that allot of Tungstens posts as well as some of Nefariouses posts have dead photo links in them that all go back to facebook. If you have had no problems with facebook and problems with photo sharing sites and want to stay with facebook then that's fine but I was just saying that based on other members experiences.
  9. Shouldn't this be in the "Members Rides" section, also you might want to change where you're linking your photos from. If you link a photo from facebook chances are the link will become dead as they like to change the way their links are formatted. I know it's easier to upload photos on facebook (as you have a facebook page) and then just post them here using that url but in the future when the link will most likely become dead then you would have to: go back and upload those photos to a photo uploading site, find out which photos go where as you cant see them any more and then re link them.
  10. You should keep the cab so you can still tell it's a nissan and you would be able to put your company logo on it, but get creative with the front end .
  11. Depending on how much of the body you plan on cutting out think about it this way, If you remove the whole body section from the B pillar back it will make cutting out the rust and welding in new metal a whole lot easier. You could even cut out the rear section of the frame and make a custom rear section like in the photo below. If you click on the photo you will get a high res version.
  12. If its hard to tell where the leak is coming from you should probably decrease the whole area and then take it for a drive.
  13. Yeh I know what you mean, If someone wanted it to look right they would have to either carry on the wd21 body creases to the front end or fill in all the creases around the body but that would be way too much for just a front end. Yeh soft/curves = weak, straight/angles = tough.
  14. That's exactly what I was thinking of when grimgreg mentioned about comparability, but I wanted to see what a newer d22 front end would like although I do like the older front end on it. On a lifted wd21 it would look a little like a xterra wd22.
  15. It looks abit "Soft" right now because of the bumper but throw on a bullbar and I reckon it will look much better... well maybe. And It will look very unique, not that its always a good thing though.
