  1. same climate as yours... i switched my tranny to mobil 1 synthetic, and the diffs to amsoil synthetic.... my hard shifts disappeared... now that could be because of the change, or synthetic, i'm not sure.
  2. when the guy in the International with 53' trailer passes you laughing at your 10mpg
  3. OK I gotta ditch my bose, the cd doesnt work, and these fm modulators are no good, the stock bose is just too low volume! I have the stereo like this: All I need is the harness adapter, antenna adapter and the face plate to get me from double to single din?? I've read bose radio swap posts here for an hour and still dont know!
  4. Could be. Like I say, it worked fine all the way home, problem was 3 days after. Problem persists even with trailer unplugged... which leads me to believe the trailer is not "currently" the problem, but not to say it didnt cause the problem. Other oddity is, I added dielectric grease to the connector... maybe I added too much and it shorted?? which then what is the point of dielectric grease i guess!
  5. OK, heres the question. I have the T type connectors for my trailer wiring harness (4wire flat). Theres a t connecter on each side of the brake/signal/park lights, and the converter box is on the left side. Bought a used boat/trailer on Friday, and brought it home through the heaviest rain storm I've ever seen, for 2 hours, lights worked great whole time. Now Today I go to take the boat to get the inspection done on it, brake lights are not working, and on top of that, when I hit the brakes, the left signal indicator is DIMLY lit (and actually comes on dimly, as seen in the paint reflection in the vehicle in front of me is how i noticed it). Brake fuse popped twice. Now, when the fuse goes, the signals, park lights both work fine, its just on the brake is where the problem seems to be happening. So I unhooked the left side T connector, problem gone. Reconnected left, disconnected right, problem gone.(the left side in the main side, which i think disconnected the module anyway, so that explains the left i believe.) Is it common for these T connectors to go bad... but better question... what caused it to go bad, and why so delayed until days later, and hours of driving later? Is it a short in the trailer, or did this module going bad just happen to coincide with me getting a new trailer hooked on?
  6. they call them a 35mm lift, as opposed to the AC 50mm lift. its noticable... theres a truck here identical to mine with the AC, same tires and you notice the difference. I went ironman to lessen the cv problems, and really because they were as cheap as buying after market stock height springs for my pathfinder. i have a thread here before and after with them on mine an measurement.
  7. bigger question might be what is your back space on your wheels
  8. did you replace both sensors, or just the one? I'm not getting any codes...
  9. I am still debating on doing mine just to get some MPG. 10MPG is not very good. I have tried E10 87 octane, but generally run 91 premium E0, I really find no difference with either. two questions, how the heck do I get at these upstream sensors, and what sensors did you replace with??? part numbers would be cool too!
  10. I call it a wagon! a mighty nice wagon! I wonder what a pontiac G8 wagon would have looked like?!
  11. Any tips on replacing these? My arms are only 2 and a half feet long, and I have one elbow... I've kindda been ignoring them, hoping the pathy just gets bad MPG... hahaa.. No really, what kind of sensor is best to replace them with, and how do you get em.
  12. haha, good answer, me too. I got em because they were about half as much as ac or OME, and my back ones were shot, so all four of these were about the same as two rears! I like to call myself cheap... sounds better than broke..
  13. I do like the looks of the dodge magnum wagon. theres one around here with about 20" tires on it, SRT with the hemi, all blacked out, and exhaust, sounds awesome, and looks like it works pretty good. I am not going to be buying one any time soon, but its a pretty cool family wagon... more cool than my wifes honda accord ;P
  14. didn't think there was too many other people out there with the ironman lift, how did you decide on that? It seems I have got more than the OME, and less than the AC with my ironman 35mm lift.
