  1. You might be able to access them through the fender wells if you remove your rubber gap guards. Not sure though the first thing I did to my pathfinder was put a body lift on. Mark
  2. I have heard from a bunch of those ausies (kiwis, whatever) That the old Man emu shocks are the best out there. They are made by ARB Mark
  3. From Item description Note: Heavy duty ride Mono tube gas pressurized shock.
  4. You could always make them yourself. I just picked up the steel to do mine. cost me about 90 bucks for about 140 pounds of steel. Now to get welding. Mark
  5. I have always worried about installing one of these and having someone else with the same frequency. I think I would still want a cut off switch to prevent the winch from operating off somebody else's remote or off some stray interference. Mark
  6. Also If you bend the pig tail out instead of cutting it you will get more lift and less likely to sag in the future Mark
  7. They also have these at harbor freight tools for 49.00 I have seen them go on sale for like 39.00 bucks. Mark
  8. That attachment will work with any grease gun. It has a zerk fitting one end and the needle fitting on the other. I bought a pneumatic grease gun from harbor freight for 9 bucks on sale about 6 months ago. Mark

  10. Well I was lubing up my truck and realized that many people my not know how to correctly lube their spare tire carrier. I have seen many of these seize up because they rusted out due to lack of grease. Or the get so hard to move that they actually stress and dent in the rear quarter panel of the truck. On the inside on the hinge with the tire carrier open you will see a little hole. This the where you put in the grease. You may ask how do you get the grease in there. Well There is a special tool. Here is a photo of it you need to press the needle tip firmly inside the hole keeping pressure on it and then pump the grease inside the hole If you are not all rusted up inside you should see some grease come out the top or the bottom of the hinge. IF this has not been done in a long time you will have rust colored grease come out. If the grease does not come out looking like fresh grease keep pumping it full of grease until it is clean grease. Then do your best to wipe the excess nasty grease off. My lower hinge was rusty grease. If you do not see any grease come out. Pump some in and then work the tire carrier open and closed a few times then try again. Or wait a few days then try it again. It may take some time for the grease to work on some of the crusties that are plugging the grease passage. Good Luck Mark
  11. Upside down in a battery tray.. No Way!!.. the posts would short out against the battery tray! (I know what you meant) I will be mounting mine on their side, As soon as I get the steel to build my battery box for my battery relocation project. Mark
  12. The best thing about an optima Is the lack of corrosion on the the battery terminals, and battery compartment. My battery tray is all rusted out due to the years use of a non-sealed battery. Mark
  13. so yours is a auto transmission? To my knowledge Manual transmissions do not have a neutral switch. They have a switch on the clutch to prevent the truck from starting with the clutch not press but that is about it. Mark
  14. Mine does the exact same thing. It is a 91 SE Manual transmission. I was told this is normal, I don't think it is. Since It has always done it, I have lived with it. I have tried swapping the MAF sensor, I have like you replaced everything, Spark plugs, wires, cap, rotor, ect Mark
  15. It is a Warn brushguard/winch mount. It mounts to where the tow hooks bolt on. mark
  16. I soon will be selling my old Warn winch mount/brush guard when I install my arb. here is a photo of it. The winch my go up for sale with it, depending on if I can fit it into my arb bumper. Good chance it won't fit The brush guard will be higher up on a vehicle without a 3 inch body lift. Mark
  17. Here is another link to a 3" body lift mod. They have a solution to the stupid body lift bumper bracket mounts. as well. so you can ditch them. http://www.4x4parts.com/ubbthreads/showfla...part=3&vc=1 2 weeks. WTF Mine got to me in 3 days. Drop shipped from arb in washington. Mark
  18. Here is mine. Although it will be changing, I am installing an ARB Bumper I will probably have to buy another winch to fit the ARB. Mark
  19. My infinity speakers came with the wiring adapters(supplied by crutchfield). I ordered from crutchfield they were free with the purchase of the speakers. Go to www.crutchfield.com and search for part number 12071003 I think they are 12.99 a pair USD. They have a really good photo of the adapter you should be able to tell from the photo if it is the correct one. Mark
  20. Here you go http://www.arb.com.au/NISSAN/Nissan-Pathfinder.jpg Mark
  21. I just ordered a Arb bumper for my 91 pathfinder. Just thought I would share with the deal I got. $665.99 with free shipping Mark
  22. I fixed mine as well. After removing the upper intake and all else involved. I replaced all of my injectors. I found that number 3 injector had fuel on top under the injector screws. That must have been my leaker. I then put it all back together and then it would not start. I then double and triple checked all the connectors and vacuum lines, everything was good. then I thought did I put those fuel line back on correctly. Nope Had then backwards. switched the fuels back correctly, she fired right up. However my low idle miss was still there. Crap!! well I then did the power balance check and found that the number 5 spark plug made no difference when unplugged. I then removed the spark plug in number 5 and then did a compression test. it was 130 so no problems there. I then took a close look at the spark plug and the gap was all messed up. It was too close. I remember last year when I replaced them that one of the spark plugs fell out of my socket when I was installing it and may have hit and messed up my gap. After re gapping the spark plug in number 5 she now purrs like a kitten. It is not so bad, as she did need at least 1 injector replaced. Mark
  23. Ghostpath, I actually received mine on friday. I installed them on friday evening. I did not have time to adjust them yet. I am still not really happy with the light spread. I have HID Conversion bulbs on all my cars and all of the beam patters are perfect on those. (97 honda accord, 01 hyundai santa fe, 03 kia spectra. I will try and get pictures of beam patterns off mine tonight. I was thinking. The glass lenses on the stock housings obviously separate from the housing and the new ones separate as well. I was thinking of using the stock housings with the clear plastic lenses. The new housings have the reflector on the back of the housing and uses a front deflector to deflect the light back to the housing instead of using the glass to deflect. This is much better but looks nothing like the beam patterns of my other cars. My search for the perfect beam pattern my be futile. I have not hot spots on any of the beam patterns on my other cars. I also thought of removing the front reflector off the new housings but not sure what that would acomplish. Mark
  24. as always tuning with an SWR meter and cutting the antenna wire to adjust the readings on the meter help out tremendously. I have not tuned mine as of yet. Mark
