I have 3+3 and 32" tires. if you look at my picture, my Cb antenna just scrubs the top of my garage door when I drive into my garage. As you can see the tip of the CB antenna is well above the rest of the car. The CB antenna is approx 1.5 inches higher than my garage door. It looks like the front antenna is taller than the back one, that is not the case it just looks that way in the picture. Mark

if you ship to a business address the shipping considerably cheaper. Like I said it was 9 bucks and I am not that far from you. BTW some of the older wd21 half shafts are cheaper could be why his was less. Mark
-
a note to mention. I have heard from many people that the factory half shafts have much better angles then the after market shafts. I kind of concur with them. Now whether this is because my factory shafts were worn in I can't tell you. But the new ones seem to bind at full droop. I have yet to do any hard core wheeling with the new shafts so I cannot tell you that they will or wont break. However I spent and extra 15 bucks for the boot kits for my old ones (on sale at rock auto) So you may want to keep your old ones. Mark

I bought both my half shafts for my wd21 (gsp) from rock auto. their web sites states that they have a lifetime warranty. http://gspnorthamerica.com/ I have actually bought from rock auto about 8 times. They have never let me down. Mark

I noticed he had a 1991 mine is also a 1991. mine is also and SE not sure if it made a difference weather it was of SE or XE but maybe. It should be (if you have it) to the right of the steering wheel it looks like this

The IAC is on the side of the plenum. I was messing with my injectors and had the plenum off anyways, but it seems like it could be removed without the plenum removal. this is the first time I have used it as well. I had used every other injector cleaner under the sun and it did nothing. The seafoam actually made the most difference. I used half a can with a half a tank of gas. But I guess a full tank and a full can should be better. It proved to me that I had a leaky injector since when the truck would sit for a few days the gas would evaporate off and leave the seafoam. when I would start it up after sitting a cloud of white smoke would come out of the exhaust. It did more than just prove the injector was leaking. by the time the tank was empty it had cleaned out whatever was in my injector causing it to leak. Now it consistently idles at 700-750. I have heard lots of people swear by the stuff I was skeptical. I would try the seafoam first and then if that does not work then mess with the IAC. Mark

see my above post. Nissan intended that use of the starter for that reason they installed a interlock button. only for emergency use. mark
-
You should have an interlock button on the dash that bypasses the clutch safety switch. I guess you problem could be in that switch as well. I bypassed clutch switch to install a remote starter in my pathfinder, It does not bother me not having the switch in because every manual transmission car I have ever owned never had one, so I am used to there not being one there. www.rockauto.com gsp half shafts brand new, lifetime warranty $78.89 Cardone presumed brand new since no core charge $51.79 Cardone Reman $69.79 plus $50 core shipping charge for 1 about 9 bucks to my neck of the woods. Mark

Update! I have fixed my problem. turns out my iac was all gummed up. cleaned it up with some seafoam. then ran it through the tank. Mark

I just did both of my half shafts last weekend. I had replaced both about 6 months ago with brand new ones. I rebuilt the stock ones since they obviously have better angles than the brand new ones. costed my 15 bucks for 4 boot kits (grease, clips, clamps, boots) Got them at rockauto.com Pulling the balls out and and getting them back in was a pita. but it is done now. And make sure you mark where the spiders are aligned with the shafts or you could have balance problems. Mark

I don't want to be the third one in a row to say this. But, well 3 times I have bought an aftermarket thermostat and all three times I ended up returning them, not becaus they did not work, it was because I compared the aftermarket one with the oem one I removed. they have all been built so much better that the aftermarket ones. and I do not trust an overheated engine on some cheap crap aftermarket. And the nissan one was the same price as the aftermarket one (in my area) Just my 2 cents Mark
-
My Brand new old stock transmission was like that when I put it in. I pulled all the nissan wrap off this transmission when I installed it, so I know it was never used. Must be a common defect. like the fill level hole being to low. BTW mine only is a little stiff when cold, when she warms up no problems at all. Using Red line MT90 as well Mark

actually try the dealer for the wires. my dealer had them cheaper than the ones at my local parts house. about 69 bucks. Mark -
On mine (rear disc brakes) it is a 3 piece unit. one cable for each rear brake and one from the front brake lever. try rockauto.com that is where I got mine( the 2 rear ones that is) Mark

this should get you where you need to go http://npora.ipbhost.com//index.php?showto...1&hl=filter Mark

Dealer price around here is 70 bucks. I got mine at autozone and paid 79 bucks. was pissed off at myself after that. Been checking the dealer for all parts before autozone now. found that thermostat also was cheaper than autozone. Mark

94 Pathy - oil on bottom of engine - problem or ok? (pics)
msavides replied to AceO's topic in 90-95 WD21 Pathfinders
Also keep in mind that if the cv boots are shot, they would be slinging grease all over the bottom of the truck. could be some of that in that oily mess Also looks like you have a coolant leak, I see a drop of coolant coming off the skid. Mark -
If you head gaskets are leaking you got bigger problems and it should not be driven. Oil could be in the water, coolant could be in the oil. Not good. I hope you mean valve cover gaskets. and In the USA not all synthetics are 100 % synthetic. Amsoil, Red line, Royal purple and mobile one are fully synthetic. Not sure about others Mark

First thing you want to do is a power balance test. If you have a manual it will describe the test. Basically you start up the truck and pull the plug wires one at a time. when you unplug a wire the engine tone should change, when you unplug one and it has no effect on the engine tone then you found which cylinder is not firing. then you have to rule out electrical, fuel, or compression problem. Problem could be a variety of things from bad fuel injector to stuck valve to a hole in the piston. Mark

Actually I used these. I did not want the bolts to ever get loose and start leaking. They have been rock solid. I also used some anti seize on the threads and reduced the tightening torque. http://image.mustang50magazine.com/f/29293762+w750+st0/m5lp_1008_21_o+2002_ford_mustang_gt+trick_split_lock_header_bolts.jpg Breslin the company that made them went out of business. However they were most recently purchased by percy's. do a search for split lock bolts on ebay or on google. You want the size: LS-6 8mm-1.25x25mm They are pricey but IMO well worth it. You can find deals on them if you keep looking on ebay. I just bought some on ebay for $21 shipped. Update: I did this 5 years ago. I have not had to touch the bolts since initial tightening. I did not have to re torque them at all even after the the initial install It is a shame these bolts are no longer available. If you google search them you will find lots of people raving about them . Again Search ebay you can still find them every so often. Mark

Alarm remotes pair each other together for security. If they used that same type of system for the winch remote I would have no worries about it. However not sure if they do that. Glance through your instructions for that remote setup and see what the instructions would be if you lost your remote and had to replace it. then you will know if they use the same security. Mark
