  1. Could also be that the shift linkage is screwed, and you're in different gears than you think.
  2. Tons of power, great on road handling. If you're looking for an on-road SUV, it's a great choice. With the independant suspension all the way around, I'd be wary of taking it offroad anywhere even slightly serious. Skinnypedal has an 05, and just recently sold his WD21, and he HATES the 05 offroad.
  3. Been there done that. I've "modified" two of them so far.....for the very same reason.
  4. We're thinking about it. She's got a full set of steel ones, though, her front plate is not in the greatest shape.
  5. Mine's the same....95 LE, though WITH LSD, and Rear disc.
  6. Check your timing as well, too far advanced, and you'll lose low end torque.
  7. 15 degrees will give you a little better top end, but will take, slightly, from the low end torque.
  8. They used 12L to flush all the bad stuff out, while filling. Not all of the new stuff stayed in the tranny/torque converter, but most did. It cost us $70CDN each, or so, but we were both only charged for a Geo Metro or something similar. Good to have friends in the industry.
  9. Pezzy's had hers twisted up enough that the rear hatch wouldn't close.
  10. Yep, standard Dexron III. Anything marked with it will be okay. The Auto's aren't nearly as sensitive to fluid types as the manual transmissions. You'll be fine. For what it's worth, Pezzy and I both had our transmissions flushed/filled at a Mr. Lube using their house brand Dexron III almost 2 years ago (my friend manages the shop) and we've both been just fine.
  11. Huh? What WD21 weighs 5250lbs?!?!?! 3800, base model, no tire carrier. ~4000 with all stock options. 5250 might be the GVWR which includes passengers and cargo.
  12. Bender, who built Morpheus's bumper, has already done a WD21 bumper. Mine was his prototype.
  13. X2....just loosened it off at the center section (the T) and then tightened back up after the body lift.
  14. Well, I joined Mr.Jim's site in Feb '02, and it was around a while before that I presume. NPORA started shortly thereafter....maybe early '03.
  15. 94 Exploder is OBD1. Even though it's got an OBDII port, you can't use an OBDII reader on it. My parent's 95 is the same way.
  16. That's because it's 5 7/8 PINTS not QUARTS for the diff. The tranny doesn't even take that much fluid.
  17. I selected Search Engine, as I was looking around for sites dedicated to Pathfinders, and found Mrjim.net, which was, in a sense, the first incarnation of NPORA.
  18. So, did you order from Rocky Road, or Rugged Rocks? If Rugged Rocks, I'm sure Steevo will take care of you.
  19. That's a different story.....if it's not been primed, ever, I'm sure it has to be as well. This is just a motor that's been sitting....
  20. Who's from Rocky Road?!?! I wonder if you're thinking Steevo from Rugged Rocks?
  21. I wouldn't worry about the oil pumps, they go very rarely in these things. I also wouldn't worry about priming the pump.....if anything, do an oil change, and add some lucas oil stabilizer. Get the old crappy oil out, and some fresh stuff in.
  22. You also don't need springs and shocks for a body lift.
  23. Bolt pattern and backspacing, yes.....I believe the center would have to be bored to fit over the stock hubs on a 95.
  24. Good stuff, so AUX may have the same effect.
