  1. Computer systems Technology. And yea I just graduated too.
  2. They don't fit properly at all, the set I got had to be cut and they rusted badly after just one winter. I will probably have to buy the thorleys at some point because I was being cheap the first time.
  3. Where can I find such a girlfriend, LOL. And from one grad to another, congrats
  4. You mean I'm not supposed to put them back in the box, and throw it in the trash wrapped in a few grocery bags??
  5. Unbolt the driveshaft and drag it.
  6. My 94 uses a round tooth belt. That book is wrong.
  7. You bought a square tooth belt and your truck takes round tooth...
  8. If you're buying a house why don't you just wait till aftet to do everything. Then you only have to get it aligned once.
  9. One time my friend went to swing open the carrier and he swung it right into the the car that was parked behind us. I left a note with HIS phone number, but he never heard anything about it.
  10. June holy crap. Why not try fixing it yourself, you got time!
  11. 278,000km on my 94, with 140,000km xterra tranny swap, done at 265,000km.
  12. If it has been sitting with water in the cylinders at all, I would be afraid the cylinder walls got rusty.
  13. It's the ka24 or z24, and it has a timing chain.
  14. Make sure you find out the mileage and get a fair price. I was able to find a low miles (140k km) one for 500 including the transfer case. I would just change the t-case and trans as a unit. The Xterra t-case is the same as the wd21 one. Shifter length might be different but I have a body lift so it actually worked out in my favor.
  15. The one on my transfer case has been missing for years. I don't even know how I would mount it to the new pipe I have, as it didn't come with a place for it.
  16. It was new in November I swear. It wasn't even rusty at all! I think it must have just been a bad part. Yea the salt doesn't help but I didn't drive it a whole lot this winter anyway.
  17. I know it sucks sometimes having to spend more than you want/have, but I would not buy car parts off of ebay. Just seems like it is all china junk. At least with a part store you can get a quick replacement if you need it.
  18. There are some times I wish mine didn't have it. Like when you are trying to hook up a trailer it can get in the way, and once the trailer is on, you can't really open the tailgate.
  19. Changed a ball joint that had been clunking and making weird noise when I turned. Almost a catastrophic failure here...This was a MOOG joint installed in November. And you can see there was no lack of grease....
  20. Maybe buy a new cylinder this time. Used ones are always a gamble.
  21. Yesterday I pulled a stuck titan out of the mud
  22. I put a dynomax on my 94, sounds ok I guess. Not much louder than stock and I didn't notice any difference in power. I used a 2.25 version. Next muffler will be a magnaflow or borla.
  23. What he said ^. And wow someone made a mess under there.
  24. ^ Good advice there. I used all gates stuff on mine too, and later on I used dayco when I had to tear it apart again. A piece of advice, if you see any of the seals leaking, even just a little wet, change them all. To get the crank bolt out, brace your breaker bar against the frame (steering box side) and bump the starter, disconnect the coil wire, obviously. Works every time.
