You can drill the idler and tap it for a grease fitting. I would inspect the tie rod ends, ball joints, and tension rod bushings.

I bet you could program the newer remotes to your truck. Just find the learning procedure, and give it a go.

In the us ac work is fairly cheap. Up here in Canada you pretty much get raped by shops. So much so that I bought a set of gauges and a cheap vacuum pump from harbor freight. Nothing against you I just hate when people suggest being certified pr taking it somewhere on a forum designed to help the do it yourselfer.

If it is leaving stuff on the floor, then the leak should be big enough for you to spot by eye. Did you replace the o rings on the connections to the compressor when you had the lines off. You're not really supposed to re use them.

I used some house brand dex 3 as no one had maxlife in stock at the the time. But that is what I would use. Or castrol import multi vehicle.

If you take off the covers, they are just 5x7 oval speakers. The after-market speakers fit in there and the stock covers go back over. This is how it is in both of my pathfinders. I can take some pictures if you want.

Most speakers you put in the rear will still allow the stock covers to go on, if that's what you meant by looking stock. The size you need is 5x7 You can't tell what's in there with the covers on. Not sure on the tweeters.

The maxima with the VG30 (not VE30) is what you want. All you need to do is swap your pathy pulley over it and it installs like factory. I don't know much about the quest swap but it is more work and some grinding might be involved as well as a different belt size.

I don't call the mechanics thieves, its the service writers or whatever. The place that did my mothers wanted to charge her 8 hours worth of labour just for the diagnostic...And in the end they told me they had to "call nissan canada" to find out what it was. Anything I've ever bought from beck/arnley has outlasted the vehicle I've installed it on. Recently I had a moog ball joint fail on my truck that was installed in the fall. I bought a mevotech tie rod for my old pathy and i remember it having a very short lifespan.

I probably wouldn't worry about it unless its making more lifter noise or something. I don't remember if it ever caused an issue with mine. But I just don't use those filters anymore.

You should be able to mate your old one to it no problem. I simply used the xterra case because it came with mine and I'm lazy. It's the same case though.

Napa filters makes mine do that too. Did the same on my old wd21. I always run 5w30.

If you remove the steering shaft it should give you a lot more room. It's only a few bolts.

The xterra trans and torque converter will bolt to the stock d21 flexplate. Unless it is from a supercharged xterra, then you need that flexplate. Also, you have the xterra torque converter right? The d21 one won't fit in the xterra trans.

I'm lazy so if it were me I would find a nice set of pathy seats to replace them with. But maybe some first gen xterra seats would fit easily.

Looks like you've got an oil leak to fix while that motors out. That's all I have to add here.

LSD is useless with one tire in the air.

If you look in the service manual (available for free links in the garage section here) it will tell you the proper pressure for the ambient temperature of where you are. Under the hood it will say how many lbs of refrigerant it takes. But this is NOT the pressure.

I would replace the radiator. I know you said the other truck ran cool but @!*% happens. Also have you checked the water pump?

I know the percentage that it is off. So I just add that to the mileage on the odometer.
