hi new member and sorry if I am direct but I need help and need it fast got to get back to work......ok I will be brief. I had a bad oil leak so I ordered the front oil seal/ crankshaft seal( how ever you call it) well the seal wasn't too bad of a project, the problem started with my timing, put everything back the way it was, had some help and it was getting dark we didn't see the crankshaft had two keys, so thinking we were done bolted everything back and the engine is now out of timing, also my starter(not sounding the same as it was working fine) is not sounding right. After realizing what had happened, well started watching videos on the timing. I lined up the marks where it said and still no start.I am at my witts end. I have tried every little trick, from pulling spark plug for TDC to pulling off the valve cover to watch for compression stroke.I have counted the teeth to make sure I had 41 between marks, when I say I have tried everything I have......but I don't know it all so maybe I missed something.......but want to provide as much details about what I have done so I am not asked questions like did you try turning the ignition key???...like really. You know the kind of questions I am talking about...but I do need some help
