Yep they wouldn't let me tow my 95 pathy with our 2000 pathy. So I waited til my friend wanted to buy a car and we just told them we were towing a 92 Jetta instead.

You can change the bulbs in that thing. I had to do it on my old pathy. Also yeah we've had a bunch of people on here complaining about autozone reman stuff. Mostly starters and alternators. Thats why I always go to either the dealer or a local place here. Napa is a bunch of jerks when it comes to "****** import" car parts (thats what they said to me)

I'd like to do the same thing with mine but no doubt the hippie tree huggers will outlaw our type of vehicle soon According to his profile he is 31.

Dad bought my 93 back in 98 and gave it to me when I was in highschool in 2004-5ish. I remember when we first got it I hated it, but it grew on me Got my 95 XE in november 2007. My parents told me if I paid for it outright they would pay the difference in what it would cost to get it on the road. I've beend driving it daily ever since. Got my newest acquisition in February 2009 with the intent of learning how to fix it myself, completely without taking it to any shops. I expect my current DD to drive at least another 5 years with the way she is running now. OEM parts (if I can get them) all the way!

I got lucky and when I brought mine in it was an older guy who did it. He even informed me that someone had shoved universal GM shims in there. Fortunately since my suspension is stock height they were able to get it within specs and fix the other idiot's mistakes.
-
That is exactly what I did.

Magregor cut .5" off of his 2 inch because it wouldn't pass inspection and it was still ok. I just ordered the 3 inch b/c it was cheaper.

The maf and EGR will I know for sure, it did on mine. But that is some horrible mileage. Maybe your cat is clogged up? How old is your 02 sensor? Did you check to see if one of your brakes are dragging, that would definitley bring the mileage down.

wheels have bad camber after a bad day.

Yeah when my front end went south, I kept replacing one part at a time, it would drive nice for a week or 2 then something else would get loose. In hindsight I should have replaced everything at once. -
You sure it isn't tire balance in the rear? Also check your rear link bushings. I installed new ones in mine and man did it tighten up the rear. If something is wrong with the tire I believe you have to replace tires in pairs.

Umm I would replace all the front end components (you owe that much to your pathy if it survived that @!*%!) and get an alignment. -
Yeah the sound systems in the new nissans is amazing! Our 05 maxima has the bose and personally I don't like it. I'm trying to convince my dad to get some new speakers, or a deck. In the r50 I'm not sure whether the deck doesn't have enough out put or the speakers can't take it. It's not like the wd21 with the stock deck where you can turn it up all the way full blast and it still doesn't distort (at least mine didn't)

It never had any to begin with. We have it in the maxima and I think it sucks.

e locker means its electronically engaged.

That's going to be a fun job in the cold. Watched magregor do it on his truck and it was a PITA lol. Unless you've got a heater in the garage.
-
I thought it was vehicle dynamics control.
-
I just got an oem bosch one and everything is fine. 100 dollars at part source for a direct fit

Ok I just signed in to my gmail and he is online but set to away. I told him to check npora because people were looking for him.

Timing Belt Change(outside before the weather turns COLD!)
adamzan replied to blackspawn's topic in 90-95 WD21 Pathfinders
X2 Mine weren't leaking so I saved the money. On our r50 though, both cam and the crank seals were leaking. What are the odds. -

Get hose clamps to replace all of the stock wire type clamps as well. You will also need a scraper to scrape the waterpump gasket of and some blue (i think thats what I used) gasket sealer to put on the waterpump so the gasket seals even better. -
http://www.nissanpathfinders.net/forum/index.php?showtopic=23460 Does that look like what you want. The code of that truck is DJ3 "Sage Green Poly"

Yeah the bulbs are some cheap philips crap. I'm trying to find some good ones but I don't want any of that blueish ricer @!*%!

Poor man's way to remove the rear suspension bushings
adamzan replied to taro's topic in 96-2004 R50 Pathfinders
I had to get my bushings burned out with a torch. Then used a vice to install the polyurethane ones. -
On my first set of links I just reused the stock spacer because I couldn't get the nut to thread with the longer one. This time I just took a crowbar and forced the swaybar down.
