  1. Did you check that tiny little hose where the egr is. The one that connects the two metal pipes. Mine had a split, which caused the CEL to come on.
  2. I don't know if I didn't aim them properly or what, but now after a few months of having them, I think I want to go back to the old lights. The low beams absolutely suck! Especially in wet weather.
  3. Get a new one for around 20 bucks, if you need it. http://www.rockauto.com/catalog/raframecat...p;parttype=6956

    seafoam?

Does it run ok? If it does, leave it alone
  5. Good question, I haven't heard from him in ages. I did buy a timing belt kit from him and received it on time and as pictured...So this is strange.
  6. and Remember mine is a 95 so it came that way. I just changed the seats from XE seats to SE ones. Also the 93 speedometer is a cable while the 95 is electronic, so there is that issue as well.
  7. All mine work *knock on wood*
  8. Yeah the XE came with 235/75/15 or 215/70 or 75 i think /15. Says on the plate in my glovebox.
  9. yeah that was a bit harsh andrew!
  10. The tick is probably the exhaust manifolds. Check to see if any of the studs are broken. I bet they are.
  11. The ABS on these trucks is rear wheel only. I would reccomend running the factory tire pressure (26psi) to help with traction. They handle the winter perfectly. That is why I bought mine! About the 4wd. It says that in 4hi you can do highway speeds but if you need 4wd on, should you really be going that fast? I don't run winter tires but it would probably help. Or just get some AT's. Just drive how you would normally drive in the winter, leave lots of stopping distance, start off slowly, etc... Also check your frame for rust, clean it out and have it undercoated/oil sprayed. There are many threads on this forum to show why you should do this.
  12. I've driven wd21's with kyb's, monroe sensatracs, and good stock ones. The KYB's felt the best IMO
  13. I'm willing to bet there is a hole there. Remove the carpet (take the door sill plate, long plastic thing, out and the kick plate to get to it). You should should be able to pull the carpet back enough to see the rust. Just get it before it gets to bad!
  14. If its that wire mesh ground strap I don't think it will hurt anything as mine are broken off as well... But it's probably a good idea to re connect it, maybe it's causing you an issue. Maybe you can drive it here and we can take a look at it
  15. Adding more oil just makes the leak worse BTW.
  16. When I bought mine I asked for inner, drivers side thread and inner, passenger side thread. might want to change your post title too. You do mean tie rods not ball joints right?
  17. I find the engine rev's up a considerable amount when the a/c comp engages on mine. My other pathfinder doesn't do it and doesn't make quite a thunk that my DD does.
  18. Do you have the auto climate control? Or do you leave your a/c on? I remember the first time the compressor in my truck kicked on when I was at a stop light and the truck jerked forward and surged. Scared the crap outta me!
  19. For the stereo try this: http://www.installdr.com/InstallDocs/Nissan/PDF/647029.pdf Also check your codes, here is the how to: http://www.nissanpathfinders.net/forum/index.php?showtopic=21 Actually, the digital tripometer cluster will work in a truck with a manual one. Magregor has one in his XE (from an SE truck) and it works fine with no CEL or anything.
  20. Soon my dad and I are going to do the struts on his r50. We have a store here called princess auto, its like HF. Anyway we need spring compressors...I don't think I want to trust the r50 front springs to a 40 dollar set of compressors! I usually buy my "need it right now to finish the job" tools at a place called TSC. They're called can-pro and are lifetime warranty. I used one for my o2 sensor and it was just fine. And that thing was in there!
  21. If the breather system is anything like the auto tranny onel, you should see it go near the power steering lines on the passenger side frame and up under the hood. (pretty sure thats how it works)
  22. In north America, they were 5.25 rounds for 87-92 and 5x7 oval all around from 93-95.
