You noticed that too? I'm on my oem starter and it has sounded the same since I bought it but I know a few people who've replaced theirs and now it sounds like a VG33 r50, much quieter and softer sounding lol.

Yes it could come apart. When my dad first bought his r50, not long after he picked it up at the dealer it was making a funny noise under the hood. He brought it back a couple times and they finally found the harmonic balancer rubber insert was worn. The mechanic said he's seen it happen once and it came off, something punctured the rad, snapped almost every blade off the fan, a nasty mess!

I was just using the stuff that is in the washer fluid...

Look at the strut and you will probably be able to see where the oil has come out it will be wet on it.

No he means ECU coolant temp sensor. They are both a coolant temp sensor (in a parts list) but one is for the gauge on the dash and the other goes to the ECU.

Ask for one for a 94 pathfinder. I had the same problem apparently the 95+ nissan/infinity style plugs were not in the 95 wd21, they are like 94 and prior.

I need the two door ones too as i got a hatch one out of the parts truck but the other 2 were seized like mine are.

How much mileage on this thing? It may just be time for a new starter... The fusible links are short pieces of wire that burn out instead of something big blowing up. You can see them on the positive side of the battery on the cable.

Yeah it's easy to do. Even living in the "Rust belt" my idler arm mounting bolts came off with ease and they looked to have never been removed before. Count the threads on the old tie rods and adjusters and make it as close as possible on the new ones, so the alignment will be somewhat correct. Also you should get new sleeves if you get new tie rods. One of mine was stripped

Don't get a rebuilt one from autozone. Apparently they are crap.

Well first off. Running straight pipes is not what you want to do on one of these engines. It's not a barbaric 50's chevy, it needs back pressure to run right.
