  1. He may have blocked emails and PM's, but not phone calls.. his answering machine picks up and takes messages
  2. Yep... emails, PM's and calls alike all go unanswered or returned
  3. Thank you... I am STILL waiting to be approved (had the same intention)
  4. Little bit late here but... Yep Simon I do and had already sent it to Aaron
  5. The site it was hosted on is having issues... which are trying to be corrected asap
  6. Wow.. long time no see Glad to hear you doing good, congrats on the accomplishments in school.. good luck with your future plans at the new one. All those you named are still here, MM just came back to the forums... and Jim, well Jim made a couple appearances a while back but has gone MIA again.
  7. Give "Rough Country" (do a search here for more info) a call and order their Nissan "Hardbody" UCA's directly. RC UCA"s are the same as Superlift UCA's. If they will not sell them or the price is near or exceeds $200 then call back later and try and speak with someone else. Other options are to have a local offroad shop order them for you. You do not need or want the entire Hardbody lift kit, since the rear lift will not work on a Pathfinder, but the front ends of the two trucks are identical. Once you have them you will need an alignment. You mentioned that your truck has needed one for a while now.. bigger tires amplify the need for an alignment, which is part of the reason you are seeing it more now. Also do not crank it all the way back up after you get the UCA's and alignment... for ride comfort you need a little down travel and being all the way up is just harder overall on the entire front end.
  8. That's what I was going to say Well ok, that and do not set your enviro controls to recirculate... about the only time mine fogs like that is when I am not blowing fresh.. err "outside air" in with the heater.
  9. Mine is pretty self explanatory... My most common name online is LORD often followed by a few numbers (usually four) when a program or website will not allow me to simply have LORD. I picked up the name originally playing games such as DOOM on BBS's. The first BBS that I joined and played DOOM online had a competition just after I joined... all said and done I was ranked a "LORD". Which I added to my handle (I don't even remember what it was now), I eventually moved up in rank but LORD stuck and I eventually dropped the rest of it. When I joined AOL I used that along with four numbers following it (because they would not allow it alone) as a secondary, but most used screen name. Since everyone knew me as that, there was no getting away from it. To this day I still have that name In AOL I eventually had to add "Screen name is not based on religion!" to my profile, because I was getting spammed by bible thumpers... at the rate of nearly 50 a day at the high point! After I added that statement to my profile, it tapered off FAST and eventually stopped But as established as that name was for me I just did not feel it appropriate for a Pathfinder forum and after a few months of reading everything and lurking I decided it was time to join these forums (along with the WD21Forums - the first two I joined).. RedPath88 was born.
  10. Well we advertise on our trucks via the decals, I advertise on some other boards through my sig's, we advertise by trying to get new people to check out the site... so I personally do not see a problem with a link in ebay auctions
  11. No connectors, except for the one that is at the sensor itself. The wire goes from the sensor and joins into a harness with the starter solenoid control wires (the ones that go to the connectors for the starter). Mine is isolated in what appears to be a plastic tube and then all of the wires are taped together to create the harness.
  12. haha.. ditto, except that I have BFG AT's
  13. Once you get them out you can tell if they are dry, but still good or if they are dry and worn out... but if replacing them is your preferred course then there is nothing wrong with that I had one seize on my Yota.. the front, right, outer bearing.. what a PITA that was. the race was actually stuck to the axle shaft... it took a lot of work to get it to break free!
  14. Have them re-balanced as a first step, you can have the alignment checked and corrected if it needs it. The squeal from the front.. does it stop if you "lightly" press on the brake pedal? If it does then I would look at the cause being the brakes and get some brake cleaner. See if that helps. If it does continue to make the noise then yeah the wheel bearings may need repacked... but not necessarily replaced
  15. As it was explained by a delivery guy at a station/store I worked at when I was 18... The trucks have two tanks, 87 and 92... mid grade is achieved by mixing the two while filling the stations tanks. If there was no difference then my truck would either ping off of the mid grade or not ping of the regular.. but that is not the case It is however true that the same fuel may be found at multiple different local stations.. ever watched the delivery tankers jump from station to station
  16. For the past couple months my '88 has run poorly (lacking power, pinging, etc) off of Safeway regular (87 octane), but runs just fine off of the mid grade (89 Octane) It's almost as if the quality of the fuel has gone down. Actually, I have wondered several times if overall the quality of the average 89 octane grade has gone done because I have noticed a few other random brands (it seems to depend more on the station I get it from) has done the same. But, I have never had a problem with Chevron fuel.. I actually prefer it above all others. Every vehicle I have ever owned as run great of their fuel.. including the Pathy.
  17. Search the board for info and tips, there are a number of us who have pulled/replaced our engines You should e able to get it out in a day.. and that is allotting time for problems and delays.. but the actual amount of time will vary greatly on how many problems you encounter... such as stuck or stripped bolts Go through the manual(s).. what ever manual(s) you have on hand and before very familiar with the process before starting.. make it second nature! And you've got 3-3.5 days before you start? Break out the PB Blaster (or another quality penetrating oil) and start hosing down all bolts and anything else that has to be loosened (check the manual for this info).. couples times a day till you start, should make life easier
  18. Good luck and good travels man And thanks for spreading the word about us to the new owner
  19. Well since a simple jump allowed the truck to start normally the first thing to do would be to pull the battery cables off and clean the terminals and the battery posts, then connect the cables and see if that solves the problem. Secondly, once you have done that head down the a local parts store and ask them to do an in vehicle charging system and battery check. Most stores can do it and will do it for free. If the voltage is low with the truck running they will likely recommend that you take the alternator out so they can properly test it. If the battery voltage is low when the truck is shut off, then your looking at the battery. But first, clean those terminals and posts
  20. A shaft from any 86-97 4x4 Hardbody should do the trick... take yours with you (if possible) to compare them before you buy
  21. Since I don't have an MPFI model I have to ask... is it possible to get a stethoscope down to the injectors? If so then you should be able to hear them when they open up.. the one you cannot hear would be your starting point
  22. Yes you can use a VG30e engine from a Hardbody or Pathfinder... (Maxima's have a different crank snout length and as a result more work is required iirc) You have to swap over all of the intake componets, ie: manifold, throttle body, etc... do it on a stand before you install the engine There are a couple people here who did it, who will have more exact info for you. Although I did bring a stud with me, my local guys knew what I needed right away.. but they did check to make sure
