Having pumped $75 into the Pathy's tank at the last fill up, a motorcycle is looking more and more attractive as time goes on... prices go up! Thankfully I only drive 40miles a day in the Pathy now, nothing like the 100+ I used to do. Company vehicle is especially welcomed now! Currently I am upto $141 in a single fill up, which will be beat again in the next day or two (next fill up)

I have been searching for a complete rear carrier and front diff with 4.6's for months now and all but one... that's *1* ...auto that I have seen in wrecking yards has had 4.3 gears in it! The one truck that I did find that had 4.6's was at a yard that wanted a combined $550 for the two units and would not budge on the price! I told him that they were not gold, turned and walked out

Call back and try again, you might get another person or the same person in a more giving mood... try and work them down (best if you are ready to buy right then ) If need be tell them that you know others have got them for less, last resort because it could make them feel as if you are being way to pushy. Buying direct is "generally" the lowest price your going to find on RC arms. As for others: Superlift... same exact UCA's, different color (SL makes RC's Arms) Calmini... mixed reveiws due to bushings issues some/many have expressed (and some complain about customer service ) most expensive arms availible. AC... highly mixed reviews on them, some have zero problems others report nothing but

I actually picked up a "new" yota AC Comp today from a wrecking yard to replace the one that I have stored in the garage, it's in geat shape (much better than the one I had before) But this is for the yota of course. About the nizzy comp.. not sure as I have heard little about the amount of air it can push, Toyota compressors have a good rep (among the highest afaik) of being a prime choice for converting for OBA. I would be very intersted in the results you end up with using the Nissan unit.

Yeah tell him that it's not going to be on the street... BS about that, if anything a new title would have to be issued noting the new combo. But if no one knew Tell him that your going to check up on this "law" and use his yard as the example to explain what he wants to know

If you can do an engine swap you sure will be able to handle a T-Belt change The best/easiest time to do that would have been when the engine was still out. However doing now, before the radiator and fan are in will be the next best time.

The UCA themselves do not give you lift, it's cranking the T-Bars that does it. The RC UCA are meant to keep the geometry angles correct when you do lift it, so your not wearing out ball joints and have no problems getting it aligned. Did you crank the TBars prior to getting/installing the RC UCA's? Or did a prior owner, I don't recall where mine were stock, but it seems that it should have a little more distance between the stops and the arms, unless you or another cranked them up before. You could tighten them up a bit, maybe within a 1/2in and see where that puts you, leave around a 1/4 in otherwise your ride will suffer because you will have no downward travel left .

I see a couple of trucks in there that belong to members here... although some are not as active as they used to be.

The amount of lift you get can vary, and it does for everyone. There is no was of knowing for sure the amount of lift you will get until you install them. There are different springs, with different rates. Something else is that the amount of "lift" you will get from a set may be different than if those exact same coils are install on another truck, because of the difference in the amount of "sag" the two trucks stock springs have at the time. This is why people estimate lift ranges as 1.5-2.5, 2-3 or 3-4, etc. Even many/most retail lift packages that use springs for lift give a range rather than a solid figure, or they include some fine print that say you may not get that exact number.

I don't know what to say about that, or even think about it All I can say is that it's not really all that impressive to *me* By the pics provided they simply added floatation and an outboard engine to a car. A boat is nothing more than a pile of wood, metal and/or fiberglass with floatation and an engine

That no surprise, you used 4LO But 4LO for two blocks on a high traction surface? *sigh* 2wd should have been able to do it... could have even used 4HI just to get going if need be (then shift out of 4 once moving)

hmm, guess I don't fit in in this thread.... Two (Ford) cars I have owned 1 = One of the best cars I have ever owned, it was way more reliable that the Nissan I currently have 2 = One of my most favorite cars I have had
