  1. What size is the picture? If it's too big you won't be allowed to attach it. Do you have a geocities/photobucket/any other website storage area? If so try uploading it there and then using the IMG button to put it directly in your post (look at my sig that's using the IMG button).
  2. Welcome 97Finder! Woohoo we're getting all kinds of new cali members!
  3. Looks good! Now go get it all muddy and it'll look even better!
  4. WD21 87-95 pathfinders 87-89 (and a couple of 90 pathys) 2 door 90-95 4 door R50 96-2000 pathfinders Welcome to the board. ARB does make a bumper for your pathy, it's quite expensive though. You can check out the Armor section at www.4x4parts.com They have a lot of winch mounting options for you.
  5. No i couldnt! Mmm want some vodka now...
  6. Ahah thanks for pointing this out precise! Being 21 (and I really didn't start drinking until I was 21!) I haven't had much variety in drinks but so far I like vodka, and just about anything. Vodka and cranberry, vodka and triplesec, white russians, straight vodka (as long as I'v got something to chase it with).
  7. Actually members get 20mpg or better freeway all the time (I'v never got better than 18, but I haven't cleaned my MAF or changed my O2 sensor or changed my really dirty air filter). Maybe ford has a more efficient V6 design or something. It all depends on how heavy your foot is the weather summer or winter formula gas etc etc etc.
  8. Here I'll step outside and check mine real quick... OK 30 mph for 4lo, and no mention of 4hi. 25mph is the max speed at which you can "shift on the fly" into four wheel drive (but I personally wouldn't shift into four wheel drive unless I was at a complete stop.)
  9. Not sure about 4 hi, but 4lo is 25mph I think. I think my sun visor says 50 mph for 4 hi?
  10. Hmm this is the first time I'v heard of auto or manual hubs affecting gas mileage, I don't think either would change your mileage. Also when you're in 4 wheel drive your mileage is going to go down no matter whether you'v got auto or manual hubs. Also a 4000 pound V6 SUV getting good gas mileage?
  11. I think you might be thinking of their fronty SAS, so far all pictures of the SAS'd pathy have shown leaf springs. Hmm just looked at there web page I thought there used to be a seperate SAS Pathfinder in their project page but now it's just the sas hardbody. Shouldn't matter too much though seeing as how the hardbody and pathfinder front half's aren't too different. As long as it's a well designed leaf spring suspension with good shackles it should have a good amount of flex. Obviously it will be nowhere near as good as coilovers, but it should be better than the IFS, maybe...
  12. Vsicks you had better double check your facts before you post, he didn't start the need help thread in the garage, that was giancarlo. As Vsicks mentioned there is an in depth discussion about this exact same topic here: http://www.nissanpathfinders.net/forum/index.php?showtopic=6594 Anyway yes you are going to have to beef up the steering. And don't go with AC UCA's, 88pathoffroad had an extremely bad experiance with them. Go for Rough Country, Superlift, or Calmini instead (listed in order from cheapest to most expensive).
  13. 8-9k!!! :o I only got like $3000 when I totaled my Taurous. Hehe you could buy 9 WD21's!!! :contract:
  14. Bravo! Now the rest of the NPORA Canada team needs to get on there!
  15. Hmm don't the Nismo 05 Fronty's have larger locking diffs?
  16. I'v liked both my Kenwood decks. And I REALLY love my Kenwood 6x9s (SOOO loud and SOOO much bass! :cool2: )
  17. w00t! 2 door WD21's rule! w00t! Didn't we have this same poll a couple of months ago... Whatever it's another excuse to spout the greatness of the two door pathy! Behold the might of the two door and tremble in fear!
  18. I haven't gone salmon fishing in years (mainly because I get sea sick  ). It is great fun though. Technically I live in Felton which is right up Highway 9 from Santa Cruz. But I say Santa Cruz cause just about everyone knows where santa cruz is and now that I'm attending UCSC I'm spending most of the week in Santa Cruz.
  19. Me thinks swaping the engine and drivetrain is going to be a lot easier than a LHD conversion. But if you'v got the money talk to local rice rocket shops. BTW Luker I thought you would be all for this, you know to complete your JDM pathy! Anyway welcome to the board weight weenie!
  20. Welcome to the board! Sounds like a great setup you got there *wishes he could afford a winch*
  21. OK I hate to quibble with Dowser but there is more to a body lift than just putting it on, you have to modify your 4x4 shifter, and you have to modify your steering column. However that is cheaper than suspension lift. Also if you upsize your tires you're going to have to beef up your steering, you're at least going to have to add an idler arm maybe more. Of course problems such as this go along with any vehicle, if you want to play you have to pay right! -bounce-
  22. Good information for the new guy so far, BUT don't go with Automotive Customizers for anything. The general consesus is that there customer service sucks and their products aren't that great either. Also the AC upper control arms are horrible, according to 88pathoffroad the ones he got didn't work at all with his truck. I would suggest buying from Summit Racing, or buying directly from the companies. Especially if you get Rough Country Control Arms, I think a couple of people got quoted between 150 and 200 from them just for the UCA's!
  23. Hmm ok I second Pezzy's nomination, I nominate K9, and I nominate myself (of course! )
  24. Suspension lift is the best, and if you use modified Jeep Grand Cherokee springs and a simple torsion bar crank the cheapest. Adding aftermarket Upper Control Arms (available from Calmini Superlift and Rough Country) is better for the front suspension. Total for that set up should be around $300-500 depending on what UCA's you use whether you get new shocks (definatly recommended), etc. Absolute highest you could go with IFS is around 10" (3 inch lift described above plus 4 inch trailmaster lift plus a 3 inch body lift).
  25. Welcome to the boards Maz, many of your questions could have been answered by using the search function, but since I'm such a nice guy I'll answer the ones I know. 1. I don't know 2.http://www.nissanpathfinders.net/forum/index.php?showtopic=21 3. That would be caused by water mud snow salt, and is solved by welding over or replacing panels with non rusty panels. 4.
