  1. Hehe I was just about to suggest that. Either open up the hood with engine running at night or in a garage with all the lights off. If you see sparks time to replace the wires.
  2. OK ready set go: Small chip in windsheild Both armrests on doors have ripped open Both seats have rips on side. Center console has a huge crack in it, but it's hidden by passenger seat Weatherstripping is shot After being parked in the rain the moonroof will dump water on my head when I start driving. Passenger side power window doesn't work Passenger side gap gaurd is missing Clear coat is flacking on trunk, but it's hidden by the spare Pretty sure one of my manifolds is ticking Crack in grill. (currently looking for a 4x4 hardbody grill to replace it with) Front suspension is very noisy. I'll post more later when I think of it...
  3. :cool2: If they make it sign me up!
  4. Quismo, I'v trained my dogs to hunt deer (and other assorted 4 legged vermin, can you say coyotes? ). They didn't need much training, they like to chase em anyways, they'll just go extra hard after it if I say "go get it!"
  5. I used to have a couple of goldfish, but that was well over 2 years ago and now my tank is quite empty...
  6. I maintain my position that its best to stop and shift, don't need any more wear on the drivetrain than it already has what with 207k miles on my 88. And BTW 88 you are crazy! Shifting on the fly at 45! Was that from your famous photo of you getting airborne off a dune?

LMAO! I actually saw a prius with a, yes you guessed it, TOW HITCH!! That just made my day, only thing that would have made it better is if they had actually been (trying) to tow something.
  8. Welcome fellow 2 door owner! Great pics! First step you need to take to getting the pathy trail ready is to get yourself a 31x10.5 spare, that wimpy temporary small spare won't get you anywhere and at if used for too long will do damage to your diff! And if it's an auto get a trans cooler installed. Enjoy the forums and hopefully we can answer any questions you might have.
  9. While you can switch into 4hi at low speeds (under 25mph) I would not recommend it, the transfer case will make many angry noises at you. Also that's how my dad destroyed the front diff in his old S10. Best to stop completly then shift into 4 hi then continue driving.
  10. Welcome to the board! The 05 pathy owners are slowly finding this site I think you're the 4th Dog talk allready? I'll bite... My weimaraner's Rita (dark) and Gracie (light). Wonderfull dogs, although Gracie isn't the brightest dog ever (I found her chewing a bar of soap one day )
  11. WHAT! *gets pitchforks and torches and 2 Doors Rock signs ready* BURN THE HERETIC! Anyway welcome to the boards, hope we can help you with any and all questions you might have.
  12. AR is Arkansas right? Check out the Superlift ORV park in Hot Springs, AR. You will find plenty of challenges there! (Never been there myself but they showcase the park on Superlift's Off Road Adventures all the time).
  13. Hmm I'll take a guess at it. It's a j-pop star. Don't know who she is though I'm not THAT into japanese culture (yet).
  14. Why does it matter whether we are or aren't interested in your pathy? Shouldn't you be fixing up your pathy because its yours? Not that any of us really aren't interested, but your pathy is just like (most of) ours, in need of attention and love. While we are more than willing to help you with info, advice, tips and such we need to work on our pathys too. If you were looking for people to come over and fix your pathy for you, I think you are looking in the wrong place. We occasionally as a gesture of goodwill will give out items for free (like those speakers you expressed interest in, I'v still got them if you're still interested) but it is not the norm, as we all have bills to pay. My advice is keep on working, and use your website as a place to post pics/videos (like Pezzy does with muddynissan.com). Just don't expect us all to migrate over to your site, we like it here. Sure it might not be the best designed board out there but like a pair of old shoes it's comfortable and "just right" for us. Stick around, make friends and feel welcome! If you don't like us then you don't have to stay. Of course how could you not like us? That would be similar to not liking a basket of puppies and kittens!
  15. Welcome! :o TWO SKYLINES!?! Either of them a GT-R version by any chance? Sigh must be nice to have two skylines *jealous*
  16. Welcome! Heehee there are Richmonds in: AL AR CA IL IN IA KS KY LA ME MA MI MN MS MO NH NY OH OK OR PA RI SC SD TN TX UT VT VA and WI! Wait you need an excuse to go to the bar? -alcohol-
  17. Welcome! As stated above 33's will fit with a 3 inch body lift and 3 inch suspension lift. 35's will probably require a SAS though (although maybe if you combine rear lift coils, lift UCA's and the trailmaster 4" suspension lift and a 3 inch body lift they might fit? ) Oh and what is the Sony explode? Head unit, amp, subwoofer, or speakers? Hope you we can help you with any and all questions you might have!
  18. Welcome perspective buyer! $3000 is WAY too much for a pathy that hasn't had a timing belt change with that many miles. Even for Cali pathys (which tend to go for more than here than in other states). If you want one that has a LOT of very good modifications and has had maintence check out transworldmotos rig in our vehicles for sale section (although another forum member MIGHT be buying it, not sure on the specifics yet). He's located in San Jose. Also make sure to check out craigs list, I just found this one which is a MUCH better deal (and it's got the optional 31x10.5 tires!): http://www.craigslist.org/sfc/car/127620524.html . If you need help checking out pathy's we have a number of members in the bay area who I'm sure would be willing to help you out. I, by the way, am in Santa Cruz. Hope you decide to get a pathy!
  19. Yea we went over it a while ago, they have his OK to use his images (despite the fact that he doesn't have any OME products on there! )
  20. Rust? Whats that? Gotta LOVE sunny California! Seriously we'v got a 1930's Chevy pickup waiting to be restored in our barn. It has some surface rust, but underneath it the steel is all still good.
  21. Welcome! I'v always liked the full size wagoneers and gladiator/J series pickups. But you made the right choice by switching to a Pathy!
  22. I notice a HUGE difference between sport and touring settings on my pathy. I actually drive with sport on almost all the time. It reduces body roll (to almost none!), and definatly stiffens up the ride. Before I got my ball joints replaced it didn't seem to make a difference which setting I choose but now the difference is definatly noticable.
  23. I have given up worrying about scratches in my paint, ever since I bumped into that stupid concrete pillar in a parking garage last year. All it did was put a quarter sized dent in the left front fender and scratch off a little paint. My first reaction was to be pissed (I mean seriously who puts a concrete pillar in at a diagonal?!). But then I took a good look at the pathy: Hood has numerous pits in the paint, scratches all around the key hole on the drivers side door, pits in the paint behind the wheel wells, scratches all along the sides from trees/brush/who knows what, clear coat flaking off on rear door under the glass, lower bit of front bumper folded a little from prev. owner, etc. etc. etc. At that point I was like F it, the pathy ain't never gonna look beatiful. As long as she runs I'm happy. Scratches give character, and if you leave the pathy a little dusty it's hard to see most of them (my pathy actually looks WORSE when I wash it ) Speeding tickets suck, loosing control and crashing sucks, dinging up your car sucks. But as Calvins dad says "It builds character" Anyways HAPPY 18th! You're a man now, that means you can buy cigs, jump out of a plane, join the army, go to REAL prison, and (most importantly) buy PORN! HAPPY BIRTHDAY!
  24. Yah I think I also get charged around $5 for my 20oz CO2 tank. I have also been told that my tank is out of date and I need to get it static tested or some BS I just go to another store where they don't care and presto my tank is all full!
  25. Something tells me that DSM had an easier time because he's got a body lift. I got the material for my gap gaurds (which I still haven't made, stuff keeps coming up) at orchard supply. They had pre cut sheets (I don't have the measurements on hand right now) in the flooring section, not sure exactly what it's supposed to be used for but it seems like sturdy stuff. Cost me like $25 for two sheets. I got lucky and all my little plastic tab doohickies were still there. As soon as I get around to making them I'll make tracings so people can have an outline for which to copy from.
